Similar to findings for the visual search task, in the retest session of the shooting task, we found less significant correlations than in the test session (difference trending toward significance p < 0.1 for both bands).
The result of a statistical test was considered as a statistical trend for p < 0.1 and significant for p < 0.05 and SAS, release 9.4 (SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, USA) was used for statistics.
Antisocial Attitudes also showed a trend towards a positive correlation with emotion differentiation (ρ = 0.12, p = 0.1); that is, higher Antisocial Attitudes scores were associated with lower BSM representativeness but higher emotion differentiation.
When building a logistic regression model, the variables with borderline significance between the sexes at baseline (P ≤ 0.1: age, hypertension, NIHSS of 0 at baseline) were independent risk factors for poor functional outcome (P = 0.001) but none of them were independent risk factors for poor social outcome.
Alpha diversity, measured by OTU richness (r = −0.398, P < 0.1, marginally significant) and Shannon–Wiener index (r = −0.66, P < 0.01, significant), was negatively correlated with mean annual precipitation (Table S2 , Supporting Information).
Where initial results were, at least, marginally statistically significant ( p < 0.1), we applied a series of eliminations of rows and columns of the contingency tables, whilst re-running the significance test, to identify the levels of the two variables with which the pattern was associated.
While in postmenopausal women, there was an inverse association between aMT6s level and BC risk with a borderline significance (RR = 0.88, 95% CI, 0.75–1.02, Z = 1.67, P = 0.10) based on data from 4 studies 17 , 18 , 20 , 21 (Fig. 3 ).
Factors that exhibited at least marginal significance ( P < 0.10) in the univariate analyses were included in the multivariate analyses using Fine and Gray proportional hazards model, and subsequently deleted from the model in an enter manner.
Statistically significant p-values are shown in bold and underlined when they are below 0.05 or only in bold if a trend toward significance is observed (0.05 ≤ p < 0.1).
FC Analysis of within-region FC revealed a significant time by group interaction for the right dlPFC (F (1,43) = 8.552, p < 0.01, η2 = 0.16) and a marginally significant interaction in the right IFG (F (1,43) = 6.34, p < 0.1, η2 = 0.13).
Eye muscle area did not show significant correlations with any metabolite except for a negative trend with mannose, leucine and citrate (P ≤ 0.10; Fig. 3 ).
A summary of the numbers of biochemicals that achieved statistical significance (p ≤ 0.05), as well as those approaching significance (0.05 ≤ p ≤ 0.1) is shown in Table 2 .
These robustness analyses (Table 2 ) reveal consistent findings with those presented in Table 1 for H2, but we do find evidence consistent with H1 (a marginally significant point estimate of 0.331, p < 0.1 for value aligned treatments, i.e., an increase in donations of 0.3 of a token).
In all cases, results with p-values approaching significance, defined as p < 0.1, but not meeting the significance threshold of 0.05 were noted with an alternate symbol.
The results showed a statistical trend ( p < 0.10) for the number of upper limb movements: right ( p = 0.092) and left ( p = 0.088), suggesting a possible link between higher hand motor activity at 3 months of age and more significant gains in HINE scores.
A summary of the biochemicals that achieved statistical significance ( P ≤ 0.05) from the six-pairs comparisons of cell lines, as well as those approaching significance (0.05 < P < 0.10), is shown in Extended Data Table 1 and 2 .
However, when responses over each time period were compared between women and men, aside from a trend towards significance for stroke volume (Fig. 2 , panel D) and index of contractility (Fig. 4 , panel D), no significant gender differences (all P > 0.10) were identified in response to water ingestion.
