Compared with the ST condition, SaEn (stride time) was significantly ( p = 0.003) higher in the DT-paper; it was also higher in the DT-phone condition, though this difference only approached significance ( p = 0.096).
On their own, frataxin levels did not predict change in FARS scores (p = 0.503); however, when using multivariate regression analysis to assess the effect of frataxin levels on rate of FARS change controlling for the effect of age and sex, the model was statistically significant (p = 0.002) with age as the main predictor of progression (p<0.001) and frataxin levels approaching significance (p = 0.096).
Exploratory analyses showed a trend toward higher postoperative iMg, but not tMg (0.78 mmol/L, standard deviation [SD] 0.1 vs. 0.74 mmol/L, SD 0.11, P = 0.096) in patients who developed POAF.
at least one low) (HR = 1.32, 95% CI 1.02–1.71, Wald’s p = 0.034, log-rank p = 0.034), while when combined with TOP2A the prognostic value for the co-expression was marginally significant (HR = 1.31, 95% CI 0.95–1.80, Wald’s p = 0.096, log-rank p = 0.095) ( S3 Table ).
The increased H 2 O 2 concentrations appeared to be linked to increased production, since the activity of superoxide dismutase enzyme showed a trend towards an increase (+28%; P = 0.096).
A hypergeometric test revealed a statistically significant overlap between estrogen responsive genes and up-regulated alcohol regulated genes ( p -value = 5.4x10 -8 ) and nearly significant overlap between down-regulated alcohol responsive genes and estrogen responsive genes ( p -value = 0.0964), suggesting that alcohol does not generally affect ER target genes but rather a specific subset in an apparently non-random manner.
Also, it is worth mentioning that the addition of tonabersat to radiotherapy resulted in a prolonged survival time, with a trend toward significance (p-value = 0.097) compared to the use of TMZ in conjunction with radiotherapy (i.e., ‘control’ group).
When the minimal models were reconstructed in R software, all remained significant (with and without questing tick data: Tables U and V in S1 File ) except for the associations between white-footed mice and CC403 and between white-footed mice and RST1 type sequences, which were marginally non-significant (P = 0.097 and 0.056 respectively) in models with questing tick data included.
For the head we observed a significant main effect of valence ( F 1,90 = 18.32, p <0.001), with more positive values for positive than negative scenarios, no significant main effect of scenario ( F 3,270 = 1,17, p = 0.323) and a marginally significant interaction valence x scenario ( F 3,270 = 2.12, p = 0.097).
Lower CD4 count (per 100 /μL decrement, OR 3.9, 95% CI 1.85–8.30, p<0.001) was also significantly associated with CMV retinitis, whereas presence of CMV diseases other than retinitis showed a trend toward association that was not statistically significant (OR 3.9, 95% CI 0.78–19.1, p = 0.097). 111 (87%) of 127 patients with HIV retinopathy had CD4 count less than 200 /μL (median 51 /μL, IQR 18–91 /μL, range 1–403 /μL). 34 (27%) patients were using systemic steroid, and 83 (65%) patients were with history of AIDS.
However, frass P concentrations declined as grasshopper density increased, and the correlation between frass P and grasshopper density was marginally significant ( n = 5, r = −0.809, P = 0.097) at treatment-level ( Fig. 2h ) and highly significant ( n = 45, r = −0.467, P = 0.001) at quadrat (cage) level ( Fig.
There was a slight trend to more smoking habits and more hypertension in the upper quartiles of fluorescent AGEs ( p = 0.097 and p = 0.080, respectively).
Initial analysis of the effect of inhibition of type-I PKA anchoring – by determining the proportion of invaded cells that were transfected (or ‘IX/I’) - showed a trend toward decreased invasion, although this was not statistically different from the scrambled control ( Figure 8A , gray bars ; P = 0.097); however, upon normalizing the data for transfection efficiency ( i.e. the number of invading, transfected cells over the total number of transfected cells, or ‘IX/X’), there was indeed a statistically significant (P<0.05) inhibition of invasion caused by disruption of RI anchoring ( Figure 8B , gray bars ).
This analysis can only detect large effects due to low power, but a one-tailed t -test revealed a marginal trend for higher NWR scores in the latter, t (11) = 1.38, p = 0.097; mean for those who do not read at all = 54.34%, mean for the others = 66.50%, Cohen’s d = 0.278.
Excluding these dogs from the control group, the statistical evaluation presented slight significance (p = 0.097) for more β1-AAB positivity in the DoCM group compared with the control group.
Biochar showed a trend (p = 0.097) of depressing protein efflux rates out of the extractable organic N pool, with rates in the biochar treatment (53 μg N g −1 d −1 ) being half that of the control treatment (115 μg N g −1 d −1 ).
Even if the mean temporal perception was in fact higher in the less conceptually congruent condition, the effect only showed a trend in the predicted direction ( p = .097).
Results MEP size ANOVA with Group and Time (T1, T2) revealed a significant main effect of Group (F = 3.653; p = .038), no main effect of Time (F = 0.227; p = .637), and a trend towards significance for the interaction (F = 2.518; p = .097).
Similarly, the z-standardized CS-US contingency knowledge (= US-expectancy), showed a trend-level main effect of compliance ( F (1,215) = 2.78, p = .097, η p 2 = .013).
