For error rates, there was a trend towards significance in patients with lesions affecting the fronto-polar cortex compared to patients without lesion of the frontopolar cortex (main effect of group [F(1,30) = 3.1, P = 0.08]).
While Ln OPN was only approaching significance in the full model [HR (95% CI) = 1.20 (0.98, 1.48); P = 0.08)], it was highly noteworthy with respect to our primary hypothesis that Ln OPN’s association was statistically significant after removing the unassociated covariates [HR (95% CI) = 1.24 (1.01, 1.52); P = 0.04)].
Insulin release assessed through the novel BIGTT-AIR test was increased for individuals with the AA genotype, but only borderline significant (OR = 1.36, p = 0.08).
Consistent with this, we found that the median β was higher in studies that report IBD (median β = 0.19; CI = 0.011–1.14) compared to studies that found no evidence of IBD (median β = 0.015; CI = 0.0–0.98; Table 2 ), although this latter result was marginally non-significant in two-tailed tests ( P = 0.08 IBD vs.
Similar results were observed for replacing long sedentary bouts with standing, walking, MVPA or brief sedentary bouts, except that the results of replacing 30 minutes of long sedentary bouts during work with MVPA became marginally non-significant for %BF [B(95%CI); -1.42 (-3.02 to 0.19)%, P = 0.08) and BMI (-1.03(-2.15 to 0.09) kg/m 2 , P = 0.07) (results not shown).
While ZO1 mRNA expression was not modulated by any dietary intervention in the proximal jejunum and ileum, goats receiving N reduced feed showed a trend towards increased ZO1 mRNA expression in the mid jejunum ( P = 0.08).
Additionally, the interaction of previous accuracy in the flanker task and interval was marginally significant, F (1,28) = 3.17, p = 0.08, showing larger PES in the short interval condition (22 ms) compared to the long interval condition (8 ms).
Moreover, a marginally significant trend existed toward progressively diminishing accuracy in the prelude to an error ( F 1,19 = 3.3, p = 0.08; Fig 1C ).
The h 2 of 0.20 of bill width tended towards significance ( z = 2.33, P = 0.08) whereas the h 2 of 0.05 in bill depth was far from significant ( z = 0.60, P = 0.58).
This showed a positive trend for a relation between competitive economic choices and subsequent wasabi allocation to the unfair other ( rs = .28, p = .08), while feedback choices were not related to wasabi allocation ( rs = -.19, p = .25).
Quantitative SWI measurements for hemorrhagic volumes, as shown in Fig 1C , demonstrated that the BMSC treated T2DM rats only exhibited marginally significant (p<0.08) smaller hemorrhagic volumes than the control T2DM rats at 5w after stroke.
42 [56.8%] of 74, p = 0.004, and showed a trend towards being more likely to have normal cognition at entry (4 (18.2%) of 22 vs. 30 (40.5%) of 74, p = 0.08).
In the ANOVA, we also found a significant effect of session (F 2, 34 = 4.46; p = .02) and a marginally significant work episode x session interaction (F 4,68 = 2.23; p = .08) on the lapses.
In three independent preparations, no difference in pERK1/2 abundance could be detected ( Fig 10A and 10B ), however, 20 nM prorenin caused a strong trend towards increased ERK1/2 phosphorylation (p = 0.08).
The amplitude of the P1 to the first stimulus was significantly affected by drug treatment [F(3,22) = 3.05, p = 0.036] up to similar level of the corresponding peak to the second stimulus whereas the amplitude of the N1 component was close to significance level [(F3,22) = 2.8, p = 0.08].
Follow-up t- tests indicated that memory bias values for negative items ( M = .63) were significantly different from those for positive items ( M = -1.04) and neutral items ( M = -1.32), t (37) ≥ 9.63, p < .001, η 2 ≥ .71, but the difference between positive and neutral was only marginally significant, t (37) = 1.82, p = .08.
The effect of previous exposure on general appetite was borderline significant (P = 0.08) and therefore, the effect of odour was investigated only at times 1 and 5 min.
The results showed positive correlation with statistical significance in IRS2 and CUL4A (r = 0.368; P = 0.001 and r = 0.401; P < 0.001, respectively) and marginal significance in TFDP1 (r = 0.188; P = 0.08).
In the mortality analysis, the Cox proportional hazards test showed a marginally significant effect of diet treatment on rate of death (Wald statistic = 6.87, df = 3, P = 0.08; Fig 3 ).
