These results indicated that men and women with gout have different hazards for the likelihood of osteoporosis, with a 13% increase for male patients (95% CI = 1.00–1.28) and borderline significance for women (HR 1.11; 95% CI = 1.00–1.24, p = 0.055).
At 18 months strong positive relationships were found between fat %E ( p = 0.005) and MUFA %E ( p = 0.001) and FM at 9 years, and there was a positive trend between MUFA %E and FM at 17 years ( p = 0.055).
This main effect was qualified by an intervention x session interaction trend (F(2400) = 2.472, p = 0.086) along with a trend towards significance for session (F(2400) = 2.92, p = 0.055).
When Product B was analysed by dosage, there was an almost significant increase post-supplementation for the 600 mg dose ( p = 0.055), while there was no significant difference at 200 mg, or for either dose of Product A ( Table 2 ). 3.3.2.
For some of these SNPs (in the ZFAND6, ADYC5, IGF2BP2, SLC30A8, KLHDC5, and HMGA2 genes), statistically significant or borderline significant interactions with BMI (or with waist circumference) in determining T2D were reported in the EPIC-InterAct study ( p = 0.055, p < 0.01; p = 0.034; p = 0.099; p = 0.10, respectively) [ 16 ].
Results were different for HiS rats: Preference in the polycose gelatin test was strongly correlated with preference in both the saccharin gelatin and the fluid test, r s(11) = 0.84 and 0.74, respectively, and the correlation between saccharin gelatin and fluid preferences was nearly significant, r (11) = 0.54, P = 0.055.
the control group at most study visits (median [Q1; Q3], Visit 3 test: 2 [1; 3]; control: 3 [2; 3]; p = 0.001; Visit 4 test: 1 [1; 2]; control: 2 [1; 3]; p < 0.001; and Visit 5 test: 1 [1; 2]; control: 2 [2; 3]; p = 0.004) and almost reached statistical significance at Visit 2 (test: 2 [2; 3]; control: 3 [2; 3], p = 0.055).
After adjusting for FFM in Model 3, ∆AUC 0-210 glycine remained inversely associated with ∆AUC 0-210 hunger (partial r 2 = 0.45, p < 0.001) and TOF (partial r 2 = 0.16, p = 0.043), while its positive association with satisfaction was trending towards significance (partial r 2 = 0.15, p = 0.055).
These modifications were associated with an improvement of liver stiffness which did not reach statistical significance but nonetheless marked a clear trend towards reduction (12.8 vs. 13.8 kPa, p = 0.055).
Following the commencement of the intervention, the intervention group showed a significant decrease in the animal/plant food ratio (β = −0.03/week, p = 0.024) and the consumption of livestock and poultry meat (β = −1.80 g/week, p = 0.035), as well as a borderline significant increase in the consumption of vegetables and fruits (β = 3.22 g/week, p = 0.055) and plant foods (β = 3.26 g/week, p = 0.057) over time at lunch compared to the control group.
In the regression model with initial hsCRP as independent and initial BMI, body fat and pre-study alcohol consumption as independent variables, BMI and alcohol consumption were marginally significant ( p = 0.055 and 0.056 resp.; adjusted R 2 = 0.19, p < 0.0001; data not shown).
In contrast, no significant or almost significant interactions were observed for sweetness in either food model, sourness in Gj ( p = 0.055), or bitterness in Cp ( Table 4 ).
Organ indices, including those of the spleen, thymus, liver, heart, and brain, did not differ significantly between the groups, although the MLCT + 2′-FL group showed an increasing trend in spleen index compared to the CON group (4.05 vs. 3.26, p = 0.055) ( Figure 1 D). 3.2.
Accordingly, the estimated VO 2 max also improved significantly in men ( p < 0.0001), whereas the increase was of borderline significance in women ( p = 0.055).
Spearman’s Correlation Results of Methylation Level and Expression of FTO Gene and PLAG1 Gene In the case of the FTO gene, Spearman’s correlation coefficient r between the methylation level of region 1 with gene’s expression is r = 0.381, with a borderline significance p = 0.055.
Although not statistically significant, there was a strong trend of a higher score on the ‘Health conscious’ dietary pattern to be associated with a reduced likelihood of having GDM OR 0.89 (0.78, 1.00) p = 0.055 in unadjusted analyses.
It is worth noting that the diets of FH subjects showed a trend toward a lower content of trans fatty acids ( p = 0.055), although this difference did not reach statistical significance. 3.3.
Also, the duration of the stay at the COVID unit seemed to be an important factor, as the result of the analysis was close to significance ( p = 0.055) ( Table 3 ). 3.3.
It is notable that there was a strong trend towards improved speed of performance on the RVIP [F(1, 75) = 3.80, p = 0.055] confirming that the increased accuracy was not due to a speed accuracy trade-off. 3.1.3.
Significant main effects of time were observed for recovery ( p < 0.001), soreness ( p < 0.001), and readiness to train ( p < 0.001), while energy levels approached significance ( p = 0.055), providing evidence across both intervention groups of the damaging impact of the sprint protocol.
A near-significant negative correlation was observed between BMI and lifestyle (rho = −0.138, p = 0.055), indicating a trend towards lower BMI values in individuals with healthier lifestyles.
IC measures were similar for the 30 min treadmill walk, but CHO and fat oxidation between treatments were only marginally statistically significant ( p = 0.055, and 0.071, respectively).
