Our results also showed a significant increase in post-operative total sperm count in the grade I and II groups, although grade III patients showed the highest increased total sperm count with a borderline significance ( p = 0.054).
In a fully saturated model simultaneously including sex, mechanical ventilation and comorbidity count (six predictors for 33 events, well beyond the events-per-variable limit), the AISI effect retained a comparable magnitude (aOR 2.57) but reached only marginal significance (95% CI 0.98–6.72, p = 0.054), an attenuation attributable to over-parameterization rather than to loss of signal, and one that underscores why the pre-specified parsimonious model was the appropriate primary specification.
Women in the study group had lower Cu concentrations than controls ( p = 0.054, borderline significance), while Pb concentrations were significantly higher in female participants ( p = 0.032).
However, an almost significant relationship between current anxiety and hyperintensities or lacunes observed at neuroimaging emerged (Fisher’s exact p = 0.054).
Analysis of pain reduction by anatomical region using the Kruskal–Wallis test yielded a near-significant trend ( p = 0.054), with exploratory pairwise comparisons indicating potential differences that did not persist after Bonferroni correction.
Pathogen-Specific Mortality Patterns In the overall group, mortality differences were borderline significant ( p = 0.0547): E. coli n = 10/20 (50.0%), GBS n = 0/7 (0%), Other n = 3/12 (25.0%) ( Table 4 ).
A moderation analysis showed a marginally significant interaction between preoperative anxiety and sex on chronic postsurgical pain (b = 0.15, 95% CI [−0.003, 0.30], p = 0.055).
There was a moderately significant association between depression and latanoprost use, compared to those not on latanoprost (41.0% vs. 17.4%, p = 0.055).
Pairwise DeLong comparisons of M4A, M4B, and M4C revealed no statistically significant differences in AUC between the three nutritional models (all p > 0.05), although the comparison of M4A versus M4C showed a trend favouring CONUT (ΔAUC = 0.077, p = 0.055; Supplementary Table S4 ).
There were no significant differences between the two groups, and only the sexual abuse difference is very close to statistical significance ( p = 0.055).
Furthermore, epicardial adipose tissue density significantly increased after contrast administration ( p < 0.001), with a median difference of 8.2 HU (IQR 4.3–12.1 HU), whereas either a borderline significant or no significant difference was observed between unenhanced and contrast-enhanced density values of paracardiac and subcutaneous adipose tissue ( p = 0.055 and p = 0.180 respectively), as shown in Figure 5 .
For instance, while hypertension was more prevalent in the unruptured group ( p = 0.015 in univariate), it showed a borderline non-significant trend in the multivariate model ( p = 0.055).
Seasonal Variation and Subtype Interactions Univariate ANOVA showed a trend toward a main effect of molecular subtype on vitamin D levels (F(3,81) = 2.64, p = 0.055), adjusted for season.
However, readmission showed no significant association ( p = 0.104), and the association with DVT demonstrated a notable trend toward significance (aOR 2.756, 95% CI 0.980–7.750, p = 0.055).
In the correlation analysis of the high MD group, it was found that only the PSD of 10-2 uniquely presented borderline significant correlations with GCIPL thickness (r = −0.327, p = 0.055), and no other functional parameter showed significant correlation.
