While we noted an increased proportion of CD4 + CD69 + T cells in the PB of all patients (as shown in Table 1 ), a statistically significant difference was found only between the RRMM group and healthy controls ( p = 0.027); in the newly diagnosed (NDMM) group, the increase in CD69 + cell expansion was of borderline significance ( p = 0.06).
The group treated with 30 mM Phe showed a statistically significant difference in comparison to the 2.5 mM, 5 mM, and 10 mM treatment groups, while a statistical trend was observed in comparison to the control cells (corrected p -value = 0.06).
The trypsin-like domain showed a statistical trend towards reduced proteasome activity in ICM tissue (0.78 ± 0.11 μU/mg), compared to DCM (1.06 ± 0.08 μU/mg) and control (1.00 ± 0.06 μU/mg, p = 0.06) tissue ( Figure 1 B). 2.2.
Conjunctival Antigen-Presenting Cells The percentage of bone-marrow-derived CD45 + cells in the conjunctiva obtained by impression cytology from all three sites—superior bulbar (SB), nasal bulbar (NB), and temporal bulbar (TB)—was significantly higher in the KCS group ( p < 0.02) and approached significance in cells obtained from the SB alone ( p < 0.06).
There was a borderline significant increase in G3/4 diarrhoea (OR: 1.75, p = 0.06), but no effect on treatment discontinuation without progression (OR: 0.87, p = 0.25).
T cells exposed to IL-7/15 and co-cultured with B16 cells approached significance compared to IL-2 exposed T cells cultured with B16 cells ( p = 0.06), a finding we had demonstrated previously [ 6 ].
Regarding Clec7a expression, exposures of 10 μM metformin or 10 μM empagliflozin also showed a trend towards increased Clec7a expression ( Figure 6 D) at 24-h (2.33-fold, p = 0.06; 2.23-fold, p = 0.08), respectively.
Importantly, the KA+MI 120 mg group displayed similar learning dynamics: in addition to a significant difference in mean escape latency between day 1 and 4, there was a significant reduction in the latency period on day 4 relative to day 2 ( p = 0.03) and a nearly significant reduction on day 3 relative to day 1 ( p = 0.06).
Dunnett’s post hoc testing after ANOVA revealed a significant preventive effect for ectoine and a clear trend for NADA ( p = 0.06). 5-Hydroxyectoine had considerably smaller effects that did not prove to be statistically significant, probably due to the sample size of n = 10. 3.
Regarding type I IFNs, IFN-α exhibited a decreasing trend in the transfected and infected group compared to the infected group ( p = 0.06), while IFN-β expression was significantly downregulated in the transfected group ( p = 0.05; Figure 2 E and Figure 2 F, respectively).
Similarly, ex vivo samples from IRL201805Res patients revealed a strong trend ( p < 0.06) at 72 h for greater intracellular expression of IDO when compared with Pbo at the same time-point.
Examination of the model investigating the statistical interaction between STAT1 and TGFB2 showed that there was a borderline significant increase in HR for the TGFB2 high group of patients (HR (95% CI range) = 1.84 (0.97–3.46); p = 0.06) There was a significant increase in HR for the STAT1 high group of patients (HR (95% CI range) = 2 (1.08–3.71); p = 0.029), accounting for significant impact of age at diagnosis (HR (95% CI range) = 1.03 (1.01–1.05); p = 0.005).
Using the fixed-effects model, we did not find a significantly greater FBG level reduction in the AGO group than SSRIs; however, a trend towards significance has been observed ( p = 0.06).
Tissue MCP-1 also demonstrated a trend toward significance by health status ( p = 0.06), where unhealthy animals had higher levels ( Supplementary Table S5 ).
Although the expression of PSMA3-AS1 in relation to the size of the tumor was not statistically significant, a positive trend towards higher PSMA3-AS1 expression in bigger tumors was demonstrated ( p = 0.06), ( Figure 6 ).
Alterations in ATM were more frequent among H/L patients (17.3%) compared with NHW patients (7.9%), a difference approaching borderline significance ( p = 0.06).
No significant interaction was observed between CSDS and LC n-3 PUFA dietary exposure, although it almost reached statistical significance in the number of head dipping in the EPM ( p = 0.06, Figure 4 C).
A 3 (Group: 3 mo, 15 mo, 22 mo) × Time Period (CS, ITI, Post-CS) ANOVA conducted to assess responding during this session found a main effect of time period, F (2, 34) = 6.46, MSE = 1067.50, p = 0.004, η p 2 = 0.28, a marginally significant interaction, F (3, 34) = 2.57, MSE = 1067.50, p = 0.06, η p 2 = 0.23, and no effect of group, F = 1.86, p = 0.19, despite a clear visual trend showing decreased freezing in middle-aged and old animals.
