approached significance (RT 40.3 ± 16.7% and SDB 9.2 ± 19.7%; p = 0.06).
approached significance (RT 40.3 ± 16.7% and SDB 9.2 ± 19.7%; p = 0.06).
We also found a two-way interaction between distribution and PPN ( p < .001, η p 2 = 0.04), but the three-way interaction involving sex was only marginally significant ( p = .06, η p 2 < 0.01).
In addition, all the GBA1-PD patients were included in the “worsened” subgroup with a trend toward significance (p = 0.06) at the chi-square independence test.

Individuals with the risk allele genotype of rs33912345 showed a trend of thinner RNFL in the temporal sector, again not statistically significant (A/A 72.8 ± 10.0 μm, A/C 72.0 ± 9.0 μm, C/C 71.2 ± 9.8 μm, p = 0.06).
In agreement with previous studies in the maritime Antarctic that have found no influence of soil pH on soil bacterial alpha diversity or community composition 10 , 15 , or in which pH has been identified as an only marginally significant predictor ( P > 0.06) for the frequencies of C and N cycling genes 14 , soil pH had no influence on bacterial alpha or beta diversity in the present study.
Tissue fraction showed marginal significance ( p = 0.06), suggesting that its variable composition can influence efficiency under certain operating conditions.
Effects of the intervention on olfactory performance Linear mixed model (LMM) comparing the change in olfactory threshold as a result of the intervention between the two groups, controlling for age, revealed a marginally significant main effect of the intervention, F (1,318) = 3.4, p = 0.06, and a significant and robust main effect of group, F (1,318) = 199.8, p < 0.001, but no interaction of these two factors, F (1,318) = 0.02, p = 0.88, suggesting a small increase in olfactory sensitivity in both groups as a result of the intervention.
latifolia , we found a negative trend for the number of eggs laid on and into S. latifolia flowers in lit corridors compared to dark corridors (estim. = − 1.17, SE = 0.622, z = − 1.9, d.f. = 100, P = 0.060, Table 2 ).
Although admittedly the interaction was only marginally significant, F (1, 16) = 4.111, p = 0.060, η 2 = 0.195 it is worth noting that the alerting tone reduced the differences between the optimal and non-optimal time of day by almost half (synchrony effect = 25 ms) in comparison to when the alerting tone was absent (synchrony effect = 44 ms).
Results indicated that response bias correlated significantly for VT-AT SJs (R 2 = 0.45, p = 0.04), showed a trend for AV-AT (R 2 = 0.40, p = 0.06), and did not correlate for the VT-AV pair (R 2 = 0.04, p = 0.58) (See Supplementary Fig S1 ).
The parents exhibited more-vigilant behaviour in the nest-box with an enlarged entrance (2.07 ± 0.41%) than in that with a control entrance (0.90 ± 0.41%), but this was marginally significant (mixed model, nest F 1,20.1 = 4.12, P = 0.06; playback F 1,21.3 = 0.28, P = 0.60; nest × playback F 1,20.9 = 2.93, P = 0.10; temperature F 1,36.0 = 2.05, P = 0.16; brood F 1,20.5 = 0.88, P = 0.36; Fig. 2b ).
Regarding the hemodynamic descriptors, the TAWSS presented a nearly statistically significant association with failure (p = 0.06, R 2 = 0.28).
In LOC there was a robust RT-distance correlation for the animate images (mean r = −0.58, t(14) = −13.02, p < 0.001), but only a borderline significant effect for the inanimate images (mean r = −0.12, t(14) = −2.08, p = 0.06).
The two sub-ROIs at and immediately inside the boundary approached significance ( p ’s < 0.08; smallest p = 0.06).
The association between motor attunement by itself and mutual romantic interest showed a moderate correlation and was marginally significant (r = 0.233, p = 0.06).
A statistically near-significant negative correlation was found between the median values of TAWSS and lumen area change (ρ = − 0.62, p = 0.06), suggesting that lower values of TAWSS are associated with a higher lumen area reduction.
Interaction between sub-treatment and CL was marginally significant ( χ 2 1 = 3.52, p = 0.06).
Significant differences ( p < 0.05) in expression were validated for three of these genes including DNAI2, DNAH5 and CES1, while a fourth showed a trend for validation (OAS1, p = 0.06; Table 3 ).
However, we deem this prospect unlikely due to the subtle visual differences between ‘eyes open’ and ‘eyes closed’ conditions, and the reported lack of difference between the ‘eyes open’ and ‘half looking’ conditions, as well as the ‘eyes closed’ and ‘not looking’ conditions (although the later relationship was approaching significance ( p = 0.06 ) and would likely be significant in a more powered study).
4 ; P = 0.001), and there was a strong trend towards an increase in Z-score in the UCB group compared to HI (Fig. 4 ; P = 0.06).
