The impact of the 2nd cue and memory load on VSTM accuracy The ANOVA on accuracy revealed a significant main effect of trial type (F(3,90) = 21.1; p<.001; partial η 2 = .41), no main effect of load (F(3,90) = .43; p = .52; partial η 2 = .09) and a nonsignificant trend in the interaction between trial type and memory load (F(3,90) = 2.14; p = .11; partial η 2 = .07).

The observed results from 147 mutational events originating from 47 irradiated mice were in the direction of the expectation: 43% singles, 44% doubles, and 13% triples or more, but the difference was only marginally significant when the results were dichotomized into {1, 2+}, (chi-sq [ 1 ] = 2.52, p = 0.11).

The concentration of valerate showed a trend (P = 0.11) to increase with the inclusion of MOS in the animals' diet.

Imposing a static boundary between centre and surround in the uniform motion condition abolished suppression relative to the central motion baseline, whereas the increase in the BOLD signal relative to uniform motion without a boundary approached significance, t(63) = −1.62, p = 0.11, d = 0.20.

Paired pre- and post-chemotherapy NB samples showed a trend to increased frequency of CD57 high cells in post-chemotherapy residual tumors in 7 out of 8 informative tumor pairs ( Fig. 8B, C and Table 1 ; two-tailed p = 0.11 using the paired-sample Wilcoxon signed rank test).

Results The removal treatment reduced cover of non-native grasses and forbs other than Erodium by nearly 60% relative to controls ( t = -3.44, df = 42.8, p = 0.001), although with a marginal trend towards smaller effects over time ( t = 1.63, df = 34.0, p = 0.11).

Notably, IL12B-specificmRNA was not significantly affected by inoculation (IL12A is not on the Genechip), although the direction of response was opposite in LS1 versus PS1 pigs, and was close to significance for shed-by-time interaction (p<0.11; q<0.15).

In addition, macrophage inflammatory protein-1α showed a trend for upregulation in loxoribine-treated cells prestimulated with interferon-β ( p = 0.11).

Serum levels of TNF-α showed a trend for higher expression in thick plaque psoriasis compared to thin plaque psoriasis ( p = 0.11), and its downstream cytokines, IL-6 and IL-8, were significantly higher in thick plaque psoriasis in comparison to thin plaque psoriasis ( p = 0.0035 for IL-6, p = 0.0036 for IL-8; Fig 5 ).

The interactions between rs12509955 and total dietary protein, and SLC2A9 gene-level gene expression and dietary vegetable protein on the outcome of urinary UA were marginally significant (p = 0.11 and p = 0.07, respectively).

No significant effects were found for any factors or covariates, though there was a trend towards significance for cognitive load (F(6,136) = 1.76, p = 0.11; Wilks’ ∧ = 0.93, partial η 2 = 0.07).

We extended our proliferation analysis to include total pancreatic proliferation and found that ANGPTL8 significantly increased extra-islet cell proliferation, compared to MBP alone as measured by EdU, with a weak trend (p = 0.11) towards increased proliferation by Ki67 ( Fig 6J and 6K , S8 Table ).

Mice receiving E-selectin showed a trend toward reduced macrophage infiltration compared with mice receiving PBS (4.4±0.6×10 5 μm 2 in PBS group versus 3.2±0.3×10 5 μm 2 in E-selectin group, P = 0.11).

Performance was significant for 13 participants ( p < .05), with a trend towards significance in 6 participants ( p < .11), while responses were not reliably classified in a remaining participant ( p = .14).

Post-Exercise Plasma Glucose and Lactate Concentrations Neither TCTs nor WPIs significantly influenced post-exercise plasma glucose levels compared with the Control group ( Fig 5A ), although a slight trend for WPI (p = 0.11) and WPI + TCT (p = 0.06) to be higher than Control, this did not reach statistical significance.

The interaction effect fell short of significance, F (2, 96) = 2.28, p = .11.

After adjusting TGD for log EGP clamp (beta = 28.4, p = 0.001 ) and log waist circumference (beta = −114.7, p = 0.028), in a multiple regression analysis, ethnicity came closer to significance (beta = −9.1, p = 0.111) .

Changes in ACT use in Rukwa were modest and insignificant, while the change in Mtwara between Rounds 1 and 3 was substantial at 10.55 percentage points among individuals and 13.08 among households, though not quite significant at conventional levels (p = .111 for individuals, p = .083 for households).

NAPAP treatment showed a trend to improved latency as compared to untreated diabetic rats (1.68±0.13 msec and 1.93±0.14 msec respectively, p = 0.111).

Table 2 demonstrates that there were borderline significant indications of downward curvature in the dose response (e.g., p = 0.112 for curvature assessed using the first set of regression-calibration-adjusted doses).

The coefficient estimates of ancestral arable land are statistically significant at conventional levels in all columns except for column 8 in which it is barely insignificant ( p = 0 . 113).

Conversely, lower levels of polychronicity were tentatively linked to a stronger preference for ST learning regimes, although this correlation only approached significance ( p = .113).

Otherwise, the trend was statistically significant in either cohort, except for the atrophic and goitrous/nodular variants in Catania, as they only approached borderline significance (P = 0.113 and 0.121, respectively).

In control lung, correlation analysis showed a trend towards significance between increasing age and shortening of lung telomere length (n = 18, r = -0.4, p = 0.115; S2 Fig ).

The middle HL group showed a nonsignificant trend toward lower HRQoL (OR: 0.77; 95% CI: 0.56–1.06; p = 0.115).
