Likewise, initiating enteral feeding at ≥12 h was associated with increased number of days receiving oxygen at >21% inspired air (β = 32.7; p = 0.040) and approached significance with discharge CGA (β = 2.89; p = 0.094).
Starch-Derived and Total Glucose Oxidation in Response to the 13 C Starch Bolus Analysis of 13 C enrichment in expired CO 2 , as a qualitative indication of the oxidation of exogenous 13 C starch, showed a trend for a diet × time interaction in males ( P = 0.095), and a main effect of the post-weaning diet ( P < 0.05; Figure S2a ).
ANOVA one-way tests for each variable confirmed the highest and statistically significant discriminant power of the active transport (F = 5.49, p = 0.002) and the lowest and nonsignificant (but quite close to significance) of the healthy dietary behaviors (F = 2.17, p = 0.095).
There was also a weak trend towards abnormal LPS levels in non-obese RA patients ( p = 0.095), and abnormal fecal calprotectin levels in patients treated with TNF inhibitors ( p = 0.084) ( Table 3 ). 3.6.
VAS results showed no changes to perception of fatigue, nausea, or anxiety (though the high-LA meal elicited a nonsignificant trend to increase anxiety p = 0.095) as a result of the consumption of any of the test meals, as shown in Figure 3 , thus it is unlikely that these variables influenced perceived hunger as a result of consumption of the different test meals.
Magnesium Levels and Grade of Siderosis as Prognostic Factors for Survival Figure 1 shows that patients who died within 12 months post-transplant exhibited lower serum magnesium levels compared to survivors, with a trend toward significance at baseline (left panel A: p = 0.095) and a statistically significant difference at Day 0 (right panel A: p = 0.046).
However, the presence of less than six AMY1 copies showed a borderline significant association with obesity (OR = 1.521; 95% CI = 0.928–2.495; P = 0.096), and individuals with a low number of AMY1 copies (≤4) had a significantly higher risk of obesity than those with a high number (≥10) of AMY1 copies (OR = 1.536; 95% CI = 1.019–2.313, P = 0.040) ( Table 2 ).
Our results showed a trend of positive correlation between baseline DHA levels from the NMR-based assay and those from ELISA-based assay (r = 0.327, p = 0.096) in RA patients.
Another set of results suggested a significant trend in the IVW method, indicating that for every 1-unit increase in vitamin A supplementation (e.g., 1 mg or 3000 IU), the risk of myopia was increased by 0.0019-fold, approaching formal significance (OR = 0.002, 95% CI 1.17 × 10 −6 –3.099, p = 0.096, Table 2 , Figure 1 E).
In addition, the theta power for the restrained eaters under the no-think condition was much higher (marginally significant) than that under the think condition for high-calorie food stimuli ( p = 0.097), which was not identified in the control group.
CRIB II scores were lower in infants with the earliest initiation of enteral feeding (<12 h), and they clinically achieved full enteral feeding more quickly with results approaching significance ( p = 0.0971).
GHRL genotypes (show a borderline significance (F= 2.350, p = 0.0978), on BMI indicating a marginal influence of this gene on BMI variability while the effect of EES is highly significant (F = 48.358, p < 0.00001).
With regards to survival free from total MACE in a long-term follow-up, a borderline significant trend in favor of the ICR group was observed ( p = 0.098). 3.5.
There was a significant, negative association between CTX and BMD T-scores ( r = −0.44; p = 0.009) and there was a trend towards significance between CTX concentrations and total BMD ( r = −0.29; p = 0.098) ( Figure 1 A).
Notably, a marginally significant negative correlation was found between HRQoL and the HEN programs’ duration (β: −0.19, 95% CI −0.40–0.03, p = 0.098), as the HRQoL score seems to decrease by 0.19 points for each year spent on HEN.
Low-fat and fermented dairy products (3.7%, p = 0.0354) were also statistically significant, while fresh fruits approached significance (2.8%, p = 0.098).
Gene Expression Analyses FVOOT intake upregulated significantly the expression of cytochrome P450, subunit 27A1 ( CYP27A1 ; p = 0.041), liver X receptor beta ( LXRβ ; p = 0.005), peroxisome-proliferator activated receptor beta/delta ( PPARβ/δ ; p = 0.038), and retinoid X receptor alpha ( RXRα ; p = 0.005), and the expression of ABCA1 in a marginally significant way ( p = 0.099), relative to baseline in all cases.
A marginally significant association between total flavonoid intake and reduced CVD mortality was found (summary RR: 0.85; 95% CI: 0.70–1.03; p = 0.099) [ 80 ].
When compared to weight loss, a significant difference was found ( p = 0.018), while marginal significance was observed when compared to muscle gain ( p = 0.099), getting lean ( p = 0.082), and having no specific nutrition-related goal ( p = 0.082). 3.3.
Feed Intake When data for the average daily feed intake in the nine weeks after weaning were analyzed by three-factor ANOVA, a highly significant main effect of generation (feed intake was significantly lower in the G2 than the G1), a significant two-way interaction between generation and fertilization regimes, and a weak trend ( p = 0.099) towards a three-way significant interaction was detected ( Table S4 ).
Muscle fiber CSA increased in type II (time: p < 0.001) and showed a trend for higher fCSA in type I muscle fibers (time: p = 0.099) of the whole cohort, without an interaction effect, respectively ( Table 1 ).
