Pearson’s coefficient analysis in the present study revealed that tearing sensation was not associated with a history of systemic allergy ( p = 0.1653) but showed a trend toward an association with conjunctival papillae ( p = 0.0887).
The fourth-degree term, while approaching significance (β = 0.72, p = 0.089), suggests a possible subtle reversal in the trajectory at later stages, though this remains uncertain.
Neural Response and Stimulus to Response Consistencies The Mann−Whitney test results revealed no significant difference between the two groups for neural response consistency, but the odd/even condition approached significance, where the experimental group had lower neural response consistency than the control group (U = 27.00, z = −1.739, p = 0.089, r = −0.39) ( Figure 2 ).
Spleen Stiffness and Disease Progression To analyze the correlation between SS and survival (PFS from Jan 2018 to May 2020), univariate Cox analysis was performed, HR was calculated (1.939; CI 95%: 0.891–4.071), and a statistical trend was indicated ( p = 0.089) ( Figure 4 A).
The present study found that FAR exhibited a significant nonlinear association with 30-day mortality ( p for nonlinearity = 0.002), whereas the nonlinearity for UAR was only borderline significant ( p = 0.089).
Secondary Outcomes Days of MV: Four RCTs, reporting data on 989 patients, showed a trend in favor of treatment with melatonin with a lower number of days spent on MV (MD −2.80 (95%CI −6.06, 0.47), p = 0.09; I 2 = 94%; Supplementary Materials ).
For female RTR, the crude analyses showed that higher plasma IGF1 levels were associated with a significantly decreased risk of all-cause mortality (0.42, 0.26–0.66; p < 0.001; see Figure 2 and Table 3 ), while a nonsignificant trend towards a decreased risk was observed for male RTR (0.74, 0.52–1.04; p = 0.09; see Table 3 and Figure 2 ).
Consistent with previous studies, our results showed a trend indicating that the risk of CUR increased in cases of labor induction (OR = 2.27, 95% CI: 0.88–5.88, p = 0.09), thus highlighting the importance of careful patient selection for labor induction.
Age showed a trend toward significance with deglutition score (rs = 0.37, rs = 0.37, rs = 0.37, p = 0.09, p = 0.09, p = 0.09), indicating a potential age-related effect on swallowing function.
In our study, the correlations between MVPA levels with FTEO sway area and SLEC time were approaching significance [r = –0.3, p = 0.090; and r = 0.3, p = 0.082, respectively] when participants were on PS.
The total RV scar area showed a trend towards an association with VA: the mean RV scar area was 111 cm 2 in patients with VA and 83 cm 2 in those without VA ( p = 0.09), and the percentage of the RV scar was 37% in those with VA and 28% in those without VA ( p = 0.05).
This difference was marginally significant in multivariate analysis that controlled for transfusion burden and splenectomy under a dominant model ( p = 0.09) ( Table 2 , Figure 1 a) but not under the other genetic models.
However, there was a trend towards significance with diabetics demonstrating a 2.5 times greater rate of experiencing a complication (non-DM: 4%; DM: 10%, p = 0.09).
Although no statistically significant differences were observed, a slight trend toward reduced procedural and fluoroscopy times was observed in the DX group (procedural time: 104 ± 3.5 vs. 113 ± 3.7 min, p = 0.09; fluoroscopy time: 18 ± 1.6 vs. 21 ± 1.7 min, p = 0.21).
In the sports-related subgroup, associated injuries emerged as a significant risk factor for ACL rupture ( p = 0.014, OR = 1.596, 95% CI: 1.101–2.314), whereas non-contact mechanisms showed borderline significance (OR = 0.75, p = 0.09).
