Although the median levels of BVAS between the two groups divided by the BARD score ≥ 3 did not show clear statistical significance, they were close to significance with a p value of 0.054, and in the correlation analysis, the BARD score was significantly correlated with BVAS.
Excerpts
The only result close to being statistically significant (test probability values of p minimally above 0.05) was found for the WHOQOL-BREF measures.
This is highly significant in our study as it indicates that the use of hydrotherapy during labour does not present a greater risk than labour without the use of hydrotherapy for experiencing any of the complications expressed in the study variables. 5.
For results that were significant or showed a statistical trend in univariate analysis, multivariable analysis was performed with a multiple logistic regression model to assess the potential impact of these parameters and to further investigate and determine the morphokinetic parameters and patient characteristics predictive of a successful or unsuccessful pregnancy outcome, CPR, and LBR.
Moreover, there was a highly significant difference using an independent samples t -test between the control and study groups.
[ 31 ] reported a marginally significant increase in HDL concentration in prefrail individuals compared to non-frail ones, while the ELSA study found no differences in total cholesterol or HDL levels between frail and non-frail subjects [ 32 ].
Regarding the outcome CKD, we found significant positive associations between overt hypothyroidism and eGFR using FAS, while the association between overt hyperthyroidism and eGFR using CKD-EPI barely missed statistical significance.
It was possible to observe a highly significant improvement in the quality of life for all patients after 6 months, regardless of the therapy, but root hypersensitivity was the most commonly found adverse effect and was more common in patients with aggressive periodontitis.
Peak along with ETP ratio with/without TM showed a trend for a discriminatory power for VTE recurrence, whereas both peak and ETP ratio with/without TM normalized with reference plasma showed a significant discriminatory power for VTE recurrence.

Additionally, our data analysis demonstrated a clear trend towards detecting PLMS in patients with higher SDB severity ( Table 2 ).
There was a trend for superiority of Lorazepam over Clonazepam acutely and the difference became marginally significant, in favor of Lorazepam, in the medium term (28 days, Figure S10 in Supplementary Materials ).
Duration, Intensity, and Symptom Response There was a statistical trend for between-group differences in the duration of symptoms ( Table 4 ).
During the present study, the incidence of UG showed an increasing trend over the course of the 10-year study period.
In other words, the observed difference between the two groups in terms of IL-31 levels is not clinically or practically significant since the coefficient is close to zero. 3.5.
Serum IL-31 Levels in UCS Patients and Controls The statistical analysis showed a highly significant difference in serum IL-31 levels between patients and controls, with IL-31 being significantly higher in patients ( p < 0.0001).
Although not statistically significant in this study, the fact that the treatment effect showed a decreasing trend one month after the end of treatment may perhaps be related to this reason.
During gait analysis, both groups demonstrated an increasing trend in stride length as the number of treatments increased, compared to baseline.
Secondly, we observed an increasing trend in near convergence (C′) measurements, demonstrating that GVS influences this indicator during and after its application, seemingly lasting for at least 15 min ( Table 3 , Figure 4 ).
However, the ASA Physical Status Classification System is only associated with a p -value of 0.04 (significant correlation) versus a p -value of <0.01 (highly significant correlation) of the CCI with mortality.
There was an increasing trend in their numbers with time.

The results of this meta-analysis are inconclusive if BH reduces the number of cases of thrombosis; however, there was a clear trend toward a lower incidence of this event.
The measured values for NLR ( Figure 1 d; Mann–Whitney U test, p = 0.028) showed a trend similar to that seen for the neutrophil percentage.
However, no significant difference was apparent in group 1.
Another possible reason is that the sample size was relatively small, so our study only showed a trend in adverse pregnancy outcomes but with no significant differences.
An additional multivariate analysis was carried out using a logistic regression method, taking into account variables that were significant (or approaching significance) in univariate analysis. 3.
