3 ) and only a slight trend to increase in biochar amended soils at 80% WFPS at the end of the second phase.

By comparing with established models of HSC activation we show highly similar transcriptional dynamics in HSCs across models of in vivo activation and identify ETS1 and RUNX1 TF motifs as highly significant predictors of HSC gene induction in NASH and early fibrosis.
At the low and intermediate rainfall ranges, the frequency of rainfall during the rainy season was included in the best models explaining grass cover, yet with opposite effects: grasses show a positive (although noisy) trend with rainfall frequency at the dry end of the gradient, while they show a negative trend with it in mesic TGBs, which is especially evident for the highest rainfall frequencies.
Specifically, T had a positive trend with MAR (R 2 = 0.22), which is the most important factor among those we considered in explaining tree cover variations in this range.
In comparison, the BDOC/DOC ratio of the other three feeds exhibited a decreasing trend of CM (60.7%) > ultrasonicated SS (54.2%) > SS (37.3%) > MS (33.5%).
A clear trend of increased yields due to earlier sowing was observed within most states (Fig. 3A ) across the 10 years of the study.
Finally, we see a clear trend of decreasing moment with increasing ion fluence mimicking the inverse trend of increasing disorder with increasing fluence.
A slight (marginally significant) effect of nestling age represented an average increase of 11% in visit rate by both parents on day six and a 5% decrease on day twelve.
Compared to untreated cells, 5-ASA and AZTP treatment showed a trend for an increase in the number of senescent cells in HCEC-1CT (Fig. 4B ).Overall, these observations provide insight on physiological effects of 5-ASA and AZTP on colonic epithelium which might affect cellular response under stress (Fig. 4C ).
3C ; Table 3 ), and a marginally nonsignificant Drug effect.
Among female mice, neither the ISO nor the AIR groups displayed a significant preference for the novel versus the familiar mouse, although the AIR controls showed a trend toward spending more time in the investigation zone surrounding the novel conspecific compared to the zone times observed for the familiar mouse (Fig. 3G ; Table 3 ).
Subsequent comparisons showed ISO mice remained on the rod for a significantly shorter duration compared to the AIR control group on day 3, according to the Bonferroni criterion (critical alpha p < 0.008), and large, yet marginally significant, differences were also observed for day 2.
The male AIR group also showed a nonsignificant trend toward more entries into the zone surrounding the novel mouse compared to entries of the ISO males (Fig. 3H ; Table 3 ).
Genome-wide replication of rs139401390A > G in the Coronary Artery Disease and Renal Failure (CAD-REF) registry with a mean eGFR of 47.8 ml/min/1.73 m 2 (n = 574, p = 0.033) was only nominally significant.
This behavioral effect of introgression may be significant for salmonids, since local adaptations are common and the “optimal behavior” can vary greatly between populations 8 , 18 .
Our results show a moderate but, because of the large number of samples (252) highly significant positive correlation between genome size and cell and nuclear volume in duckweeds.
Odds ratio analysis is often followed by polygenic risk score prediction performed by pooling highly significant variants and assessing risk model performance on patient-control cohorts 9 , 10 .
However, it was possible to highlight that when honeybees were exposed to the fungicide or submitted to co-exposure (fungicide and insecticide), there was an evident trend of decreased total distance moved and mean velocity when compared to other treatments.
Under the influence of global warming, permafrost temperature has evidently shown an increasing trend since 1980 in most parts of the NH 24 .
Cytokines associated with Th17, Th2 and cytotoxic T-cells (Tc) showed a trend for higher expression in RM than CCM.
With increasing σ 2 , the volume strain increment first shows an increase and then follows a decreasing trend (Fig. 13 ).
The area of both cells is increasing over time, while the average density of cell dry mass has a decreasing trend, which is in correspondence with the visual observation.
Regarding the descriptive statistics on the combined treatments, our results draw a clear trend separating the acute strains from those of CF.
We note, however, that many of the indirect paths were approaching significance.
Under different culture-conditions (hS, FCS, hPL+/− heparin), highly significant differences were detected.
