This association of phase with the GAF score was nominally significant in the modified 46-Hz ASSR ( r = 0.31, p = 0.03), although the significance has disappeared after Bonferroni correction (Fig. 2 b, right panel).
Excerpts
The new-onset psychoses and mania groups did not differ in gender distribution between 2019 and 2020, however the mean age of these patients showed a borderline significant difference in age, as patients in 2020 were younger compared to 2019 (median[IQR] = 29.0[18.79] and 34.75[21.75], respectively, p = 0.03).
Table 2 displays genotype frequencies from sample cohorts and as expected there are somewhat significant differences between the cohorts; Australian/Dutch and Polish/Dutch for SNP rs2075786, and Australian/Spanish for SNPs rs2736108 and rs7705526 (all p > 0.03).

PXDN (peroxidasin), an adhesion molecule, revealed an increasing trend of 1.6 fold in haze predisposed (mean ± SEM 0.12 ± 0.05) and 5.9 fold in post PRK haze group (mean ± SEM 0.43 ± 0.29, p = 0.03) when compared to the controls (mean ± SEM 0.07 ± 0.02) (Fig. 3h ).
8B ); a negative trend of microbial composition with TNF-α was found using both Simpson’s index (r = −0.280, P = 0.030; Fig. 8C ) and Shannon’s index (r = −0.266, P = 0.040; Fig. 8D ).
Importantly, we found a highly significant positive correlation between the expression of GABBR1 and a NE marker ( ENO2 ) in NEPC samples (r = 0.539; p = 0.03; n = 15; Fig. 7b ) compared to CRPC samples (r = 0.223; p = 0.22; n = 32; Fig. 7b ).
Similarly, individuals who were high responders for IgG3 to PfRH5 had a 65% decreased risk of symptomatic falciparum malaria compared to those who were classified as low responders, after adjustment for confounders; there was also a reduced risk of malaria for high IgG1 responders, but this did not reach statistical significance (IgG3: aHR 0.35, CI: 0.17–0.71, p = 0.03; and IgG1 aHR 0.46, CI: 0.16–1.29, p = 0.14) ( Table 2 ).
In addition, nominally significant associations (p = 0.03–0.05), not holding after correction for multiple testing, were found between rs3773970 and Aβ42 levels, as well as between rs4687151 and tau levels, in individuals with AD, and between rs12053868 and tau levels, as well as between rs4687151 and both Aβ42 and tau levels, in dementia free individuals (see Table 2 ).
(SMD = 0.88, P = 0.0004) However, when combining the adjusted OR (after adjustment for birth weight, gestational age and other factors) provided from individual studies, only borderline significant association were observed on duration of hyperglycemia with ROP (adjusted OR 1.08, P = 0.03); and no significant association on mean glucose level with ROP (adjusted OR = 1.08, P = 0.15).
There was a significant trend towards less sepsis-related GI complications in the probiotic group too (9% vs. 36%, P = 0.03).
Gentoo penguin locations had higher RPD values compared to RPD values across the entire HFR field but these were weakly significant (p = 0.03, two-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests respectively, Fig. 3b ).
borderline significancep = 0.03
Age showed a borderline significance in influencing attitude ( p = 0.03) but not knowledge or perception.
While these differences did not reach statistical significance, total body water (29 ± 5 vs. 34 ± 4 L, P = 0.03), intracellular water (16 ± 3 vs. 19 ± 2 L, P = 0.04), and extracellular water (13 ± 2 vs. 15 ± 2 L, P = 0.03) were significantly lower in the HFrEF group.
Additionally, the difference between the depression control and bipolar test groups was marginally significant ( p = 0.03), and a significant difference was found between bipolar test and bipolar control groups ( p < 0.01).
close to significancep = 0.0301
This trend became more apparent when we compared signal responses by gender, with EE male mice having the lowest values and close to significance compared to EE females (p = 0.0301, with p < 0.0250 for significance due to multiple testing; Fig. 2 C).
Although geometric means are not significantly different ( P = 0.056) there is a clear trend towards higher HRP-2 in SM [OR = 1.42 (1.03 to 1.94), p -value = 0.031] (Table 2 ).
failed to reach significancep = 0.031
Compared to 25%, latency differences were even more pronounced with 75% choice-trials for the small reward difference, t (24) = 3.29, p = 0.003, but failed to reach significance for the large reward difference, t (24) = 2.29, p = 0.031, BF = 1.88.
We have found nominally significant associations with total dairy and milk in every population [BPRHS (P = 0.031 for dairy and P = 0.037 for milk), GOLDN (P = (2.8 × 10 −3 ) for dairy and P = 1.1 × 10 −3 for milk), PREDIMED (P = 1.9 × 10 −6 for dairy and P = 4.0 × 10 −6 for milk) and WHI (P = 3.4 × 10 −66 for dairy and P = 1.2 × 10 −65 for milk] despite differences in allele frequency and amount of milk consumed.
The percentile values for vaginal mucosa thickness exhibited a decreasing trend with increasing age; vaginal mucosa thickness showed significant correlations with times of delivery ( P = 0.031) and age ( P < 0.001), both of which were negatively associated.
Although the time by group interaction for LDH and GGT did not reach statistical significance, LDH ( p = 0.031, Fig. 3 G) and GGT ( p = 0.057, Fig. 3 H) levels were all markedly elevated 12 h after binge drinking.

After repeating the acquisition a second time and instructing patients thoroughly on remaining still for the entire duration of the acquisition, the motion was significantly reduced in the frontal projection, whereas a trend towards significance was observed in the lateral projection (V = 21.00, p-value = 0.031, 95% CI [1.5, 10.5], estimated sample median = 3.5 mm in the frontal projection, V = 15.00, p-value = 0.063, 95% CI [4.5, 10.0], estimated sample median = 7.5 mm in the lateral projection) (Fig. 4 ).
