Gentoo penguin locations had higher RPD values compared to RPD values across the entire HFR field but these were weakly significant (p = 0.03, two-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests respectively, Fig. 3b ).
Excerpts

Results The Mann–Kendall test for the mean annual temperature in the study region indicated a significant trend of increasing temperatures ( p = 0.03), while there was no change in annual total precipitation ( p = 0.94) in the last 20 years (Fig. 2 ).
physeteris obtained from the NE Atlantic Ocean, F st at the intraspecific level was calculated only for the comparison of specimens collected from stranded sperm whales along the coast of the Adriatic Sea (of Ionian Sea origin 31 ) and those carried by the dwarf sperm whale ( Kogia sima ) from the Tyrrhenian Sea, with the finding of a generally low and slightly significant level of differentiation ( F st ≈ 0.012, p = 0.03) (Table 2 ).
Thresholds of tolerance: The referees rated the midline 1 mm off to the right as the most appealing one; the zone of acceptability also comprised the ‘on’ midline, the midline off to the left for 1 mm (Bonferroni, level of significance = 0.008, both P values = 1.0, Table 9 ) as well as 2 mm deviation to the right, which was only marginally significant ( P = 0.030, Table 9 ).
The chi-square value of the goodness of fit test was marginally significant (p = 0.03) owing to a lack of observations between 5 and 10 m, but was not deemed sufficient to prevent using the model for inference.
borderline significanceP = 0.03
M GMV also showed borderline significance for resting tremor ( P = 0.03) but not for postural-kinetic tremor.
Similarly, individuals who were high responders for IgG3 to PfRH5 had a 65% decreased risk of symptomatic falciparum malaria compared to those who were classified as low responders, after adjustment for confounders; there was also a reduced risk of malaria for high IgG1 responders, but this did not reach statistical significance (IgG3: aHR 0.35, CI: 0.17–0.71, p = 0.03; and IgG1 aHR 0.46, CI: 0.16–1.29, p = 0.14) ( Table 2 ).
The other nominally significant associations (swimming 25–50%, p = 0.030; cycling > 75%, p = 0.048; running > 75%, p = 0.016) were near the significance threshold and should be interpreted with caution, given the number of correlations examined and the small sample size.
8B ); a negative trend of microbial composition with TNF-α was found using both Simpson’s index (r = −0.280, P = 0.030; Fig. 8C ) and Shannon’s index (r = −0.266, P = 0.040; Fig. 8D ).
In addition, nominally significant associations (p = 0.03–0.05), not holding after correction for multiple testing, were found between rs3773970 and Aβ42 levels, as well as between rs4687151 and tau levels, in individuals with AD, and between rs12053868 and tau levels, as well as between rs4687151 and both Aβ42 and tau levels, in dementia free individuals (see Table 2 ).
almost significantlyp < 0.03
No significant differences were observed between patients receiving carvedilol and bisoprolol except for a significantly higher rest HR and an almost significantly lower LVEF in the carvedilol group (respectively HR 70 ± 10 vs. 63 ± 10 bpm, p < 0.03, and LVEF 31.2 ± 6.8 vs. 34.6 ± 4.6%, p = 0.051) (Table in Supplementary Information).
showed a trendp = 0.03
Post-hoc analysis showed a trend toward increased external rotation (normalizing the movement pattern) after the intervention (T1–T2, p = 0.03, 64–100% of the movement cycle), which was not maintained at follow up (T1–T3, p > 0.05; T2–T3, p = 0.01, 72–100% of the movement cycle) (Fig. 5 A).
More interesting, ELHB1L1 , another gene of the risk model, revealed a clear trend, but the risk-score is more meaningful ( P = 0.03).
ANOVA followed by Tukey’s post-hoc test revealed that m PSD values of term babies had highly significant differences between During-feed versus Pre-feed and in all three GR bands (bradygastria with p = 0.03; normogastria with p = 0.01; tachygastria with p = 0.002).
The differences between warm and recovery phase were only marginally significant ( p < 0.03) for trial 3 samples.
A 2 (Cafe) by 2 (Period) ANOVA indicates that this change is marginally statistically significant (Main Effect of Cafe: F (1, 2146) = 4.73, p = .030, η 2 = 0.002; Main Effect of Period: F (1, 2146) = 10.02, p = .002, η 2 = 0.005; Interaction: F (1, 2146) = 2.97, p = .085, η 2 = 0.001).

The interaction effects, emotion × aggression, F (2.31, 117.69) = 1.83, p = 0.16, η p 2 = 0.04, and emotion × group, F (2.31, 117.69) = 0.33, p = 0.75, η p 2 = 0.007, were also nonsignificant Interestingly, a quadratic contrast for facial emotion was marginally significant, F (1, 51) = 4.76, p = 0.03, suggesting slightly more errors for anger and sadness than for happiness, but this trend did not survive the omnibus test.
In FSL animals, both alcohol exposure and OSU administration had significant main effects on latency-to-approach, with post-hoc assessments showing a significant difference between OSU and vehicle in the alcohol-naïve group, and a close-to-significant difference in the alcohol group [Fig. 5 a; Mixed-effects model: Alcohol treatment, F(1, 18) = 5.13, P = 0.03; OSU treatment, F(1, 15) = 13.61, P = 0.002, Interaction, F(1, 15) = 0.40, P = 0.53; Sidak's multiple comparisons test, Vehicle—OSU6162: Alcohol-naïve group, P = 0.01; Alcohol group, P = 0.08].
