approached significancep = 0.0238
A significant decrease in RBD + B cells was observed when BTKi grouped patients (median = 0.12 per 10 6 lymphocytes) and treatment naïve (median = 41.8 per 10 6 lymphocytes) patients, that approached significance ( p = 0.0238) (Fig. 4 B).
The T allele of TLR3 (rs3775291) SNP in a recessive model (TT) also showed a clear trend to increase the risk of the outcome (nominal P value = 0.024).
Results Changes at community and guild levels In general, species richness in local communities was lower in 2016 than in 1990/1991, although the difference was not quite significant when controlling for multiple comparisons (Fig. 1a ; Wilcoxon signed-rank test, Z = −2.263, p = 0.024; the critical p - value using the B-Y method is p = 0.0219).
Intermediate chronotypes also scored better than evening chronotypes although the difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.024, Cohen’s d = 0.22) (Fig. 1 ).
Within the allergic diseases and moderate-to-severe asthma gene-sets, FLG was nominally significant in the loss-of-function burden test (P = 0.024, OR = 1.473), and eight additional genes passed nominal significance in the high or moderate (PolyPhen > 0.5) impact burden test ( RERE, IQCB1, PPP2R3C, PITPNM2, DYNAP, TSLP, EAF2, RASA2) (Supplemental Tables S9 and S10 ).
4 , right panel); (b) for HLA-I, there was a marginally significant effect of Gene (P = 0.024, F-test), with higher PBA values for gene C (Fig. 5 A), whereas the Virus × Gene effect was not statistically significant (P = 0.166, Greenhouse–Geisser test) (Fig. 5 B); (c) For HLA-II, there was a significant effect of Gene (P = 0.011, F-test), with higher PBA values for gene DQB1 (Fig. 6 A), and the Virus × Gene effect was highly significant (P < 0.001, Greenhouse–Geisser test) (Fig. 6 B).
the GA or GA+AA phenotype but the differences did not reach statistical significance after multiplicity adjustment (42.6% vs. 27.6%, p = 0.024; 42.6% vs. 27.4%, p = 0.015).
Similar to the comparison between binge drinkers and non-binge drinkers, a nominally significant genetic effect was identified for maternal variant rs869978 for binge drinkers versus non-drinkers (p = 0.0242).
While insect numbers on the Mp_C002_dsRNA plants did not differ significantly from that on the empty vector control plants in either generation, the BestBet plants did show a reduction in aphid numbers at a marginal significance level in the second generation (p = 0.025; Fig. 3b ).
Further, we ensured that the mean values across electrodes submitted to a paired samples t -test for each animal were significant or were at least a statistical trend for each animal, adjusted for multiple comparisons (pitch and rule tests for each animal; corrected p value = 0.025).
We found nominally significant polygenic enrichment of associations with college completion (p = 0.025), educational attainment (p = 0.043) and general cognitive ability (p = 0.015 and 0.025, respectively), suggesting that variants influencing these phenotypes are more prevalent in evolutionarily salient regions.
As seen, the deficits in FFM and FFMI among children included by WLZ-O compared to MUAC-O were greater among stunted compared to non-stunted children, although only marginally significant for the FFMI (interactions non-stunted children vs stunted children and admission criteria with respect to FFM, p = 0.025, and FFMI, p = 0.078).
In multivariable logistic regression analysis including geographic variables only, variable “[number of] Distinct states” was strongly associated with higher odds of success (OR = 1.04, p = 4.57e-36), while trials conducted in more rural settings had lower odds of success with slight significance (OR = 0.86, p = 0.025) as shown in Supplementary Table S6.
meQTL analysis After meta-analysis, a SNP (rs2611513) mapped to PRKG1 was nominally significant in association with methylation patterns of cg17426237 at PARG ( n = 141, p = 0.025; Fig. 4A ).

Within season pairwise comparisons between exclosures and controls were not significant after adjusting α for multiple comparisons (α = 0.013); however, fall growth rates of males in exclosures (0.23 ± 0.05 g/day) compared to controls (0.08 ± 0.05 g/day) approached significance ( t = −2.24, d.f . = 288, P = 0.026).
