2007: The main results The Pearson correlations between tone and ASPM -D ( r = −0.53, p = 9.63 ⋅ 10 −5 ) and MCPH1 -D ( r = −0.54, p = 7.22 ⋅ 10 −5 ) are not only highly significant, but also stronger than most (> 98.5%) of all the possible 25,558 such correlations.

Differentially expressed genes, although split fairly evenly, showed a trend towards overall downregulation.

Conclusion In these 2 large longitudinal projects spanning 2 decades of ventilation care for critically ill patients, we noticed a clear trend towards increased use of LTVV in females and males.

High discard ratios were obtained for all codends, as dnRatio was larger than 93%, showing a decreasing trend but no significant difference was found.

There was a decreasing trend in heart rate over time: T1, 71±12 bpm; T2, 61 bpm (56‒74 bpm); and T3, 64±10 bpm.
