No differences between the two genotypes at P13 could be validated, except for a marginally significant increase in expression of Cryab in Snord116del hypothalami at P13 (P = 0.0495).
Excerpts
In this analysis, support for an effect of prime type remained marginal ( p = 0.0586), and the difference between Experiment 1a and 1b was again barely significant ( p = 0.0497).
Further analysis comparing RTs in the Stroop and the Stroop-like PWI tasks showed an effect of condition ( F (1,22) = 242.4, p < .001) and a marginally significant effect of task ( F (1,22) = 4.31, p = .0497), while the interaction between task and condition ( F (1,22) = 4.15, p = .054) did not reach significance.
The direct effect of psychological distress on emotion-focused coping was negative and marginally significant (β = −0.0154, p-value = 0.0498).
Neither male nor female authors significantly decreased their representation of male non-human characters, but when books targeted towards teens were excluded from this analysis, we found a significant trend towards parity for male authors ( B = -0.02, Z = -1.96, p = 0.0499, OR = 0.98, 95% CI = [0.96, 0.99]) and a marginal trend for female authors ( B = -0.02, Z = -1.77 p = 0.077, OR = 0.98, 95% CI = [0.95, 1.00]).
Furthermore, a strong trend for an interaction of ‘sex’ with ‘genotype’ [F(1,39) = 4.0, p = .05] indicated that the impaired spatial reference memory of female mice in the probe trial was more pronounced in Abca7 −/− females than WT females ( Fig. 4B ).
However, when removing individuals of whale shark Rhincodon typus and basking shark Cetorhinus maximus (both large filter feeders) from the analysis, a negative trend emerged (Spearman r = −0.28, p-value = 0.05) ( Figure 7b ).
borderline significancep = 0.05
A borderline significance was observed in STEMI patients compared with CAC-positive individuals (p = 0.05).
In this figure, the upper and lower parts provide the deciphered trends of mean monthly temperature with various months on nine mountains and a significant trend of annual mean temperature on nine mountains ( P <0.05).
For the same slope length and rainfall intensity, highly significant power-function relationships (p<0.05) between sediment concentration and slope gradient were found except for one combination test, although the power exponents were different for different combinations of slope length and rainfall intensity ( Fig. 3 ).
Multiple statistical tests were performed, however since most of the phenotypes are dependent, we report uncorrected p-values (two-tailed) and associations were considered nominally significant at the level p<0.05.
Higher English language proficiency (β = 2.60, p < 0.001) and age (β = 0.24, p = 0.018) significantly contributed to higher MSPSS scores, while duration of residence in Canada had a near-significant effect (β = −0.05, p = 0.050). 3.3.
X mitchelliana with an almost significant trend (P = 0.05, Fig 3B ).
an overall trendgold
A marginally significant standardized regression coefficient of b = .362, t (28) = 2.05, p = .05, f = .388, indicated that there was an overall trend for an increase in performance during the memory training.
In general, the L * values showed a decreasing trend during the storage period for all samples (p<0.05).
Overall, 14 predictors that showed significant association or a trend towards significant association ( p ≤ 0.05) or near significance (0.1 ≥ p > 0.05) with low resilience on the Chi-Square/ Fisher’s exact test were included in a binary logistic regression model.
The same tendency was observed after stratifying on sex and age groups, although the results were borderline significant (e.g. the oldest heavy smoking women: differences in regression coefficient = 4.64 per % change in fat mass, 95% confidence interval (CI): −0.07, 9.29; p = 0.050).
1 , Panel B) [median: 2.220 (IQR: 0.908–3.647) vs 0.461 (IQR: 0.353–1.048); p = 0.0373], while between CC and CT groups a borderline significant difference was observed both at basal level ( Fig. 1 , Panel A) [median: 1.420 (IQR: 0.875–1.655) vs 0.676 (IQR: 0.468–1.137); p = 0.0500] and after exposure to IFN-alpha ( Fig. 1 , Panel B) [median values: 2.220 (IQR: 0.908–3.647) vs 0.840 (IQR: 0.397–1.599); p = 0.0500].
showed a trendp<0.05
Among the regions considered, only the right TPJ (associated with mentalizing on action goals) showed a trend towards significant activation (p<0.05 uncorrected) while observing both cooperative and affective pictures.
borderline significancep = 0.05
Again similar proportions were shown when comparing characteristics of women of low and high activity levels whilst a greater number of women (borderline significance) with high levels of activity reported alcohol consumption (p = 0.05).
The expression level of 186 genes showed a nominally significant difference in expression following HS (p<0.05: 105 increased; 81 decreased), of which 12 achieved genome wide significance (q<0.05: all increased with HS) ( Figure 2 ; Table S2).
Moreover, the larger distance of the household living place from the university area echoes decreases urban expansion by 0.046, which is statistically highly significant (p≤0.05).
In multivariate analysis, patients homozygous for the CRC risk allele of rs7013278 or rs7014346 (both at 8 q24) were only nominally significant for poorer overall survival compared to patients homozygous for the protective allele (hazard ratio = 2.20 and 1.96, respectively; P <0.05).
A marginally significant difference was observed between the WM and Primed conditions (t(18) = 2.104, p = .05) such that confidence ratings were slightly higher in response to WM items.
borderline significancep = 0.05
However, a decline was observed in MLANA levels (with borderline significance, p = 0.05).
