Specifically, the results show a positive and marginally significant relationship between students’ language attitude and their intention to further their higher education in indigenous language education (β = 0.144; t = 2.005; p = 0.045; f2 = 0.030).
Excerpts
Simple t -tests contrasting the trait values of those recombinants subjected to WGS- or MSG-based genotyping were not significant in most cases ( p > 0.1 for lobe area, height, width, height-to-width ratio, PC2, and PC3), and only nominally significant in one case that does not survive correction for multiple testing ( p = 0.045 for PC1).
A higher baseline serum creatine kinase level was noted in the LdT+ADV group (borderline significant, P = 0.045).
Considering that there was only a weak effect of nitrate on oligochaetes which was barely significant (p = 0.045, F 1,26 = 4.71, see S7 Table ), we do not want to overinterpret this relationship and will refrain from further discussion at this point.
Firstly, taking a direct approach that ignored pedigree structure, there was a modestly significant relationship between red/blue coat colour and deafness (p = 0.045), with red dogs being 1.84 (OR 95% C.I. 0.98 to 3.48) times more likely to be deaf.

Moreover, an analysis of peanut-extract specific IgE titers (listed in Table 1 ) and T cell cytokine production revealed a significant correlation for IL-5 (p<0.0001), IL-17 (p<0.0001) and IL-10 (p = 0.03) production in response to the P19 pool, whereas correlation between sIgE and extract-specific T cell responses only reach borderline significance for IL-5 (p = 0.045) and IL-17 (p = 0.043) ( Table 2 ).
The difference between these reaction times was marginally significant (p = 0.045) when we grouped all categorization changes together.

Hierarchical multivariable logistic regression analysis accounting for regional differences revealed that the presence of chronic kidney disease was associated with higher rates of statin non-prescription (OR 1.87, 95% confidence interval, 1.69–2.08, p value <0.001), and higher age (per 1-year increase) showed a trend for prescription of low-intensity statin (OR 1.00, 95% confidence interval, 1.00–1.01, p value = 0.045) within the subset of PCI patients (N = 4,853) enrolled after the year 2011.

In addition, glaucoma had a marginally significant association (p = 0.045) with a positive trend (i.e. worsening) of BCVA (logMAR).
Cancerous and paracancerous normal tissues from patients at different stages of cancer development and progression had a similar level of CASP8 mRNA expression ( Figure 4 ), although cancerous tissues from patients at T4 stage had a marginally significant higher mRNA expression than paired paracancerous normal tissues ( P = 0.045; Figure 4c ).
Figure 2d, 2e and 2f show that there were borderline significant differences between the groups for both EIM (p = 0.045) and CMAP (p = 0.043); MUNE showed no significant difference between the groups.
There was no significant main effect of treatment (F(3,117) = 2.441, p = 0.068) - only of time (F(4,117) = 4.155, p = 0.003), and a marginally significant interaction between the two (F(12, 117) = 1.870, p = 0.045).
Finally, while residency (in-state vs out-of-state) was not statistically significant in the respondents only model it became marginally significant (p-value = 0.0451) in the completed-data model.
Availability of forest clearings was a weakly significant predictor of gorilla nest density at the stratum level (Gorilla nest density = 0.008626 Clearing + 0.049705, R 2 = 0.58; p = 0.0454).
barely statistically significantp = 0.0459
The association between TGF-βRII and p-Smad2 resulted barely statistically significant (p = 0.0459): only 1 among the 9 p-Smad2 negative patients resulted positive to TGF-βRII and 10 among the 20 p-Smad2 positive resulted positive to TGF-βRII.
For the Western pattern, the smoking × adherence interaction for high versus low adherence was negative and borderline significant (β = −0.0653; 95% CI −0.1294, −0.0011; P = 0.046), suggesting that the Western–AIP contrast was smaller among smokers than non-smokers.
Generally speaking, the blocking of PBMCs infection by anti-TpUB05 antiserum was marginally significant ( p < 0.046) using Friedman test.
Finally, rs1042522 located in the TP53 gene did not reach statistical significance at the level of the entire locus, but heterozygotes for this locus (CG) have a 1.752 times (95% CI 1.010–3.040, p = 0.046) higher chance of reaching 90 years of age.
The group difference showed marginal significance ( t (62) = -2.037, p = 0.046, d = 0.509, 95%CI [-17.54,-16.55]).
In the combined ACS/elective CAD cohorts, the primary endpoint TLR ( Table 3 ) was borderline significant (p = 0.046) across regions, with 2.4% (Mediterranean Region), 2.5% (Central Europe), 1.5% (South Korea) and 0.8% (Malaysia).
In this case the interaction between political identity and state blueness was barely significant, R 2 change = .000, F (1, 8332) = 3.99, p = .046, and exhibited a different pattern than that observed in the 2012 data (with the strongest effect of state blueness amongst moderates), suggesting that interactive effects may be inconsistent over time.
Our best explanation is that this result may be due simply to the small sample size (N = 10), although even with this small sample, finding that only 3 (30%) colonies that scored as Africanized rather than the expected 60.85%, as found in our large sample of San Diego County foraging workers is marginally significant ( χ 2 = 3.995, P = 0.046).
Likewise, all the pairwise comparisons between Management Areas were non-significant for all year classes analysed with the only exception of EB-EW in 2010 being marginally significant at R ST = 0.024 ( P = 0.046) but not after Bonferroni correction ( P = 0.0017).
The first point to note is that the publications count has only a weakly significant relationship to prevalence of a condition (r s = .34, N = 35, p = .046).
( Figure 1B ) Between the two groups, we performed the global tests for the paired difference of the proportion of CNAs for each locus across the genome, and showed highly significant difference in gains (<0.0001) and a marginally significant difference in losses (p = 0.046) after accounting for multiple comparisons.
