Despite the limitations, three QTLs displayed significant (linear model, P <0.05, n =69) and two QTLs displayed marginally significant (linear model, P <0.10, n =69) correlations with the same traits found in the LAB QTL study ( Supplementary Table 7 ).
Excerpts
In all analysis an alpha level of 0.05 was adopted, but marginally significant results ( P <0.10) are also reported.
6d ); although the p.(Arg113Trp) variant did appear to rescue to a lesser degree than WT and was approaching significance ( P = 0.10) with our modest sample sizes (Fig. 6c, d ).
approached significancep < 0.10
Results that approached significance (0.05 < p < 0.10) are indicated by a hashmark (#).
approached significancep < 0.10
Following normalization to dsDNA concentration and log transformation, mixed model ANOVA contrasts were used to identify metabolites that differed significantly ( p ≤ 0.05) or approached significance (0.05 < p < 0.10) between experimental groups.
The interaction term COPY UP:INFO is negative and weakly significant and cancels out the baseline effect entirely (Wald test P >0.1).
We also find a small trend of increasing ocean sink (Mann Kendall test P value <0.1) with a mean annual increase of 0.01 PgC per year and is within the range of trends found by the synthesis study 35 for the past two decades of 0.01–0.05 PgC per year.
As expected, the temporal stability in C 4 ANPP was greater than C 3 ANPP (paired t -test; df=23; t =−3.26; P= 0.003) on average 18.3% across all treatments with marginal significance (paired t -test; P <0.1) in the unwarmed (paired t -test; P= 0.08) and clipped treatments (paired t -test; P= 0.07) ( Fig. 1b ), primarily because C 4 species had greater production due possibly to the inherent higher water and nitrogen use efficiency 6 10 14 .
The statistical power to find an association of at least the same strength as that reported from the Överkalix studies for each of their ten significant ( p < 0.05) or near-significant ( p <0.10) results is shown in Supplementary Table 7 .
The thresholds for statistical significance is set at p < 0.05, and marginal significance is set at p < 0.1.
Intriguingly, the transcript levels of most candidate genes showed a moderate to strong correlation with the H3K27ac ChIP-seq signals of the associated SEs, with marginal significance in HMCLs and primary patient samples (r > 0.4, p < 0.1, Supplementary Fig. 4e ).
All gene sets that were moderately significant across all of the analyzed sets of ranks in any direction (unadjusted p < 0.1) were selected for inclusion in the heatmap showing enrichment scores by gene set.
During 2001–2017, the model simulation shows a decreasing trend of dust emission fluxes in most regions of Eastern Sources ( p < 0.1) (Fig. 1d ), which is consistent with the decreasing trend of dust storm days in observations.
Additionally, in cases where either missense-variant score test used in the sLRT was nominally significant ( p < 0.1), we combined missense and protein LOF variants for joint tests.
While drinking activity was significantly reduced for all animals together, the 46% drop (i.e., a two-fold reduction) in total activity at experimental pans was only marginally significant ( t = −1.62, p = 0.1 for the drained × during interaction, Supplementary Appendix Tables S7 , S8 , Fig.
Notable near-significant differences (0.05 < P < 0.1) are indicated in the figures.
Significant ( p < 0.05) or marginally significant ( p < 0.10) apparent Q 10 estimates were observed under both control and warming treatments in all years except 2011 (Supplementary Fig. 3 ).
approached significanceP < 0.1
Two variants of moderate-risk haplotype B were associated with an earlier age of diagnosis among HPC cases (rs7005144_ A , P = 0.023, and rs191785584_ G , P = 0.019), but nearly all other variants marking this haplotype also approached significance ( P < 0.1).
After adjusting for DunedinPACE, all previously observed significant associations remain at least marginally significant (all p < 0.10).
showed a trendp = 0.1
4g, h ), whereas Aβ38 and Aβ40 were significantly increased and Aβ42 levels showed a trend for being elevated, p = 0.1 (Supplementary Fig. 4i , Fig. 4g, h ).
We found a marginally significant treatment × status interaction ( β = 0.160, 95% CI = [–0.023 0.342], z = 17, p < 0.10).
close to significancep < 0.1
Despite the small sample size, we found 21 isoform biomarkers whose association is close to significance ( p < 0.1; Supplementary Table 2 ).
Temporal examination of the correlation coefficients identified using the spatial correlation analyses indicates that SST variability on the North Icelandic shelf contains a weakly significant correlation with the annually resolved δ 18 O-shell data ( r =−0.26, P <0.1).
Substantial associations ( p -value < 0.05) with the eGFR slope were established for GPX3, FERMT3, CFHR1, and RARRES2, while marginal significance ( p -value < 0.1) was observed for SERPINF1, AFM, and elevated Mayo classes; conversely, age, sex, and eGFR did not retain statistical significance.
In fact, the only method to detect a significant trend of viral transcript abundance to moisture was the Vir DNA ( p ≤ 0.1).
