Although we observed considerable variabilities in rejection ratio in some of sexual behavior assays using these mice, presumably due to viral injection surgery-associated stress, control groups in which saline was intraperitoneally injected before the assay still showed a trend of ESP22-induced increase of rejection ratio.
Excerpts
This visual preference was remarkably consistent across animals, as 3 monkeys (O, Y, T) showed a highly significant bias, 1 (E) a nearly significant bias, 4 (S, V, D, Z) a non-significant positive bias toward the trustworthy faces.
We found some evidence for larger seeds of invasive species in forests and the difference between invasive and native species in seed size was marginally significant in scrub vegetation.
This analysis leads us to discuss why submesoscale dynamics might be significant for ecosystem diversity, but less important for marine productivity.
PAD4 levels in lysates of human liver metastases showed a trend to be increased compared to the adjacent liver based on ELISA measurements and were significantly increased based on immunoblotting (Fig. 3a, b , Supplementary Fig. 6A, B).
The cophylogeny terms from both these tests were highly significant (ICCs, 95% lower bounds: 0.34 and 0.21, respectively).
a negative trendgold
Based on theoretical considerations on the relationship of canopy, volume, and individual tree mortality (see Supplementary Note 1 ), in conjunction with increasing growing stock 39 and harvesting intensity 43 across Europe, we expected a high correlation between canopy mortality and wood extraction but a negative trend in individual tree mortality.
a positive trendgold
We finally summarized all posterior distributions with regard to their median and 95% credible interval (2.5% and 97.5% quantile of the posterior) and calculated the probability of a positive trend ( P ( α > 0)).
Moreover, in the present study we have detected a number of transethnic SNPs in the 12q24 region to show highly significant heterogeneity of genetic impact on SBP between the ethnic groups (e.g., β EAS = −0.73 and β EUR = 0.37, P het = 9.74×10 –21 at rs4766566), where inverted genetic effects are attributable to each of the ancestry-specific sentinel SNPs; a similar situation was also observed on 10q21 to reproduce this phenomenon (Fig. 1 and Supplementary Data 6 ).
When single-cell examination analysis of Prox1 and Pdx1 fluorescence intensities was performed at E8.5, no obvious difference was apparent between control and Robo1/2 KO ventral foregut endoderm (Supplementary Fig. 3a ).
This results in data points with low p values (highly significant) appearing toward the top of the plot.
There was only a marginally significant difference in CFU-G, and slight reduction in CFU-M, but consistent with studies of fetal livers, results show marked decreases in CFU-Mk and CFU-E formation in chromosome 21 silenced samples of transgenic subclones, (Fig. 5a ).
In contrast, the NS1 IgG3 subclass levels showed a trend to be higher in patients with DF (median 0.04, IQR: 0.03–0.06) compared with those with DHF (median 0.02, IQR: 0.01–0.03) although this was not significant ( p = 0.1).
The miRNA identified as positively and negatively associated with the hallmarks gene signatures in this dataset showed highly significant concordance, over the majority of signatures, with the results obtained in analysis of the TCGA BRCA dataset (Supplementary Figure 12 , Supplementary Note 5a ).
In contrast, a highly significant loss of DCs occurred in mice double deficient for Flt3 and Csf1r compared to Flt3 -null mice alone.
The two closely adsorbed H exhibit a favorable trend for combination in structural configuration for potentially efficient H 2 generation.
Accordingly, mature brain tissues show a significant TREND-lengthening phenotype compared to embryonic stem (ES) cells (Supplementary Figure 7c ) including all four representative transcripts from the APA-affected module with a role in neurodifferentiation (GNB1, AES, IGF1R and EIF2S1; Fig. 4b ).
We observed a highly significant effect of this contrast on pigmentation traits (Fig. 4a–c ).
We compared the two splicing datasets and observed a highly significant overlap not only in the genes with altered splicing but also in specific splicing events (Fig. 3c , Supplementary Fig. 8f , Supplementary Data 4 ).
an overall trendgold
Species in tropical and subtropical regions showed an overall trend of higher likelihood for hosting flaviviruses due to which hotspots of higher host richness for JEV, DENV, ZIKV, YFV, and for bat-specific flaviviruses were seen across tropical regions of Southeast Asia, South America and Africa.
a clear trendgold
As with the vemurafenib secondary pool, we calculated a validation rate based on an empirical FDR threshold of <5% and observed a clear trend in the validation rates of genes in the secondary screen based on their performance in the primary screen (Fig. 6e ).
We have demonstrated that a sustained and highly significant reduction of GO protein expression can be achieved after a single delivery of an AAV vector carrying both Staphylococcus aureus Cas9 and GO-specific sgRNAs to the livers of mice with PH1.
We are aware that caution has to be applied when interpreting marginally significant effects (such as the effects of microorganisms in interaction or independently of treatment on the number of adult males or the treatment effect on C. bombi prevalence), since the probability of a false-positive finding increases with the number of parameters tested and can be much greater than the probability of falsely rejecting the null hypothesis evaluated by P -values 57 .
A time course of TAC showed a trend towards induction of Thbs3 mRNA at 3 and 7 days but with significant and robust induction by 2 and 12 weeks (Supplementary Fig 1b ).
Indeed, BAK1 shRNAs showed a trend of desensitizing E7107, consistent with its role in proapoptosis (Fig. 1c ).
