Notably, questionnaire responses showed a small trend toward requesting more details on relatively rare reversible causes of OHCA, which may reflect their often versatile and different presentation, making diagnosis even more difficult.
In the fertility preservation subgroup, oocyte yield showed a trend toward higher retrieval in the normal weight group compared with the obese group, though this did not reach significance after FDR correction (q = 0.064).
The study also showed a trend towards a reduction in muscle mass, skeletal muscle mass, lean body mass, bone mineral content and handgrip strength; however, these findings did not reach statistical significance [ 12 ].
In a human randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled pilot trial, LIPUS-treated participants showed a trend toward reduced worsening of ADAS-J cog scores at 72 weeks, warranting further evaluation [ 100 ].
In EuReCa TWO, the incidence of EMS-attempted resuscitation in Europe was 56 per 100,000 inhabitants (26–91 per 100,000), with country-specific estimates ranging from 19 per 100,000 in Spain to 97 per 100,000 in Poland, and an increasing trend over recent years [ 3 ].
Although individual ASA categories did not reach statistical significance, a clear trend toward decreased survival with increasing ASA class was observed ( Table 4 ).
When stratified by therapy status, the positive association between adiponectin and NT-proBNP was not significant in untreated patients but was highly significant in patients receiving therapy, with a higher correlation coefficient than in the overall cohort ( Supplemental Figure S2A,D ).
analyzed 509 patients with congenital lower eyelid epiblepharon and found that a higher BMI showed a trend toward increased risk of severe corneal involvement [ 14 ], suggesting that elevated BMI may not only be associated with the presence of epiblepharon but also with its clinical severity, although the association did not reach statistical significance in their logistic regression model.
Moreover, following adjustment for laboratory variables, IS patients in the higher TyG-SI quartiles exhibited progressively increased 360-day mortality incidence, compared with Q1, the HRs (95% CIs) were 0.85 (0.56–1.29) for Q2, 1.25 (0.85–1.84) for Q3, and 1.98 (1.37–2.88) for Q4, with a significant trend across quartiles ( p for trend < 0.001) ( Table 2 ).
However, this difference became borderline non-significant when men were stratified according to the presence or absence of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
A clear trend emerges whereby those affected by diseases of high severity, such as neoplasms, show a greater willingness to participate in clinical trials, which may reflect their search for new, potentially more effective treatments.
Discussion In this randomised controlled trial, adjunctive silodosin after ESWL did not achieve a statistically significant improvement in the primary endpoint of overall SFR compared with standard care, although a numerical trend towards higher clearance was observed.
Introduction Brain metastases are the most common brain tumors, surpassing the incidence of primary brain tumors, with a current ratio of up to 5:1 and an increasing trend [ 1 ].
SLN positivity was identified as a highly significant prognostic determinant for long-term outcomes, as Kaplan–Meier analysis revealed significant differences across all survival endpoints ( Figure 1 ).
RDW ( p = 0.070) and SII ( p = 0.077) were close to significance, while GII, PLR, and PMI did not demonstrate independent predictive value within the regression model.
A large-scale epidemiological study involving more than 3 million ICU admissions in the United States reported a CCI prevalence of approximately 34.4 per 100,000 people, with an increasing trend associated with advancing age.
The metabolic burden showed a trend toward association with a lower QoL, consistent with evidence that cardiometabolic changes emerge early during antipsychotic treatment in youth [ 15 ].
