Using simple effect tests to analyze the interaction between the groups and motion speed, we observed that ( Figure 4 ), on the whole, the threshold of the youth group would gradually increase with the speed of point movement, whereas the thresholds of the elderly group with exercise and elderly group with no exercise presented an increasing trend followed by that of decreasing.
Disentangling this latter interaction further, we found that it was due to near-significant differences at fronto-central locations between the familiar and novel stimuli before training, showing larger amplitude for the familiar items [F(1,10) = 4.2, p = 0.068, R 2 = 0.296], whereas after the training the amplitude for the novel items increased and this difference was obliterated [F(1,10) = 0.60, p = 0.811].
Figure 2 , lower panel, displays the sizer plot with the transition between the colors blue and purple indicating a change in the trajectory of behavior from a negative trend to a zero trend, and colors transitioning from purple to red, changes in behavior from a zero trend to a positive trend ( Chaudhuri and Marron, 1999 ).
Results Our results supported our hypotheses regarding (1) the association of time in nature with affect, (2) the association of time in nature with rumination, and (3) the mediation of the association of time in nature with negative affect through rumination, while the association of time in nature with positive affect through rumination was marginally significant.

While such comparative research is highly significant ( Kéri, 2015 ) and should be expanded upon in future research, this is also quite complicated due to not only potentially unbalanced designs and potentially small samples ( Kéri, 2015 ) but also unmeasured between-group differences, such as quality and intensity of traumatic events, sociodemographic factors, and personality.
