The linear mixed model M5-(described in the Methods “Statistical analyses”)-based post-hoc comparisons of 31 P MRS parameters in the hippocampus, the motor cortex, and the premotor cortex between MMD patients and control family members revealed significantly ( p < 0.05) decreased levels of PCr (phosphocreatine)/ATP and PCr/P i (inorganic phosphate) and increased (trending toward significance; p = 0.088) levels of P i /ATP in all selected brain areas of MMD patients (Table 1 and Fig. 6 ).
When the analyses were limited to the dyads who had same examiners at pre- and post-interventions (n = 75 out of 140 dyads; 53.6%), the interaction effect between time and treatment condition remained marginally significant, potentially due to limited statistical power ( F [1, 183] = 2.94, p = 0.088 for child latency; F [1, 183] = 2.83, p = 0.095 for examiner latency).
As shown in Table 4 , the comparison between 15 and 30 min revealed a statistically significant increase in accessibility to medical beds (t = − 2.053, p = 0.041), while the improvement in access to medical technicians approached significance ( p = 0.088).
CAP did not show a significant association with CHD in either gender, although a marginal trend was noted in males (p = 0.088).
Further univariate analysis with Kaplan–Meier calculations demonstrated a significant difference in DFS ( p = 0.04) and a borderline significant difference in OS ( p = 0.088) between antibiotic-treated and control BC patients (Fig. 2 C,D).
Although “high-risk” patients in the WCH cohort demonstrated improved iDFS with PMRT ( P = 0.002), the TCGA cohort only showed a trend towards improvement ( P = 0.088; Supplementary Fig.
Interestingly, the Pearson correlation coefficient indicated a strong trend of negative correlation between GAP43 expression and recovery in the cM1 ( P = 0.0886), suggesting that decreasing GAP43 expression in the cM1 may play a role in recovery.
A similar analysis was conducted for responder rate (one-point drop) on the numeric rating scale demonstrating a marginally significant effect for sessions x duration ( F (4,93) = 2.08, p = 0.089), indicating a trend that more people respond to 6 sessions of 20 minutes than to 6 sessions of 30 minutes ( t = 2.55, p = 0.024) (see Fig. 3 ).
In SSRI/SNRI users as a sub-group, plasma serotonin was significantly correlated with QSM values in the SNc [r = − 0.511, p = 0.043, n = 16], whereas in SSRI/SNRI non-users the correlation was weaker and there was only a trend toward significance (r = − 0.253, p = 0.089, n = 46; Fig. 4 c).
Mantel tests did not detect a significant relationship between the linearized genetic distance and geographic distance for either neutral or outlier markers, with nearly significant p-values (r = 0.034, P = 0.089 and r = 0.75, P = 0.068, respectively) ( Fig. 1a,b ).
We found marginally significant associations (species richness/sampling effort Rho = 0.391, p value = 0.089; captured individuals/sampling effort Rho = 0.422, p value = 0.063), indicating that our measurements of taxonomic diversity are marginally affected by differences in sampling effort among sites, so we included sampling effort (log number sampling days) as a random effect of the model.
For the Maha season, it was estimated that the yield reduction in 2017 had worsen due to climate change in two models, relative to the yield in 2017 without climate change, although these estimates were marginally significant for APSIM (–0.19% and p = 0.089) and marginally insignificant for DSSAT (–0.19% and p = 0.113) (Fig. 5 c).
