Pairwise statistical comparison of the magnitude metric revealed a trend towards significance between placebo/moderate doses (paired t-test: p = 0.061) in the go-only blocks, with low alcohol dose showing a larger magnitude metric than placebo (Supplementary Fig. 5 a).
However, higher zonulin levels showed a positive trend towards increased duodenal bacterial load (r s = 0.36, p = 0.061) and zonulin correlations also extended to obesity associated parameters such as body mass index (r s = 0.65, p = 0.01E−02), waist circumference (r s = 0.47, p = 0.009), and hip circumference (r s = 0.53, p = 0.003) (Supplementary Table 3 ).
The main effect of field approached significance, F (2, 24) = 3.16, p = 0.061, partial ƞ 2 = 0.21, whereby full fields ( M = 16.95%, SD = 6.58) and fields >10° ( M = 15.55%, SD = 5.22) had numerically lower thresholds than the 0–10° field condition ( M = 22.24%, SD = 10.54) (Fig. 1C,D ).
5 ) and a marginally non-significant effect of sex (least squares mean ± 95% confidence interval: males: 0.019 ± 0.005, females: 0.025 ± 0.004; F 1,31 = 3.77, P = 0.061).
Histologically, the distal colon of GAL 3 R-KOs showed a trend toward more severe inflammatory cell infiltration during colitis compared to GAL 3 R-WT mice ( p = 0.061), with transmural inflammation occurring in some animals (Fig. 3 a,c).
Tau pathway For phosphorylated Tau (pTau), the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test revealed a marginally significant overall group effect (H = 5.59, p = 0.061).
Finally, there was a trend towards significance for the 3-way interaction including the quadratic component (F(1,13) = 3.54, p = 0.061), which could be explained by a larger active vs. sham decrease of the (negative) quadratic coefficient for rhythmic than for sham stimulation (p < 0.05; CI = [−0.26 −0.03]; d = 0.76; B U[−0.10 0.24] = 2.26; both active vs. sham differences being significant when tested separately, p < 0.01; for rhythmic: d = 1.34; for random: d = 1.14).
Polydextrose treatment in Western diet also increased the relative abundance of Verrucomicrobia (2.6% in WD + PDX versus 0.42% in WD), but this was not quite significant (p = 0.0611).
The correlation between the mutation rate and the relapsing period was found just marginally significant ( p value = 0.0613), differently to Colangeli et al. 12 , who found it significant.
There was no significant effect of context on total number of lever presses [RM two-way ANOVA: F (1,8) = 3.051, p = 0.1188] and on response rate [RM two-way ANOVA: F (1,8) = 0.2291, p = 0.6450] but the effect was trending towards significance for reward rate [RM two-way ANOVA: F (1,8) = 4.729, p = 0.0614] during the scheduled reinforcement phase in WT mice.
Behavioral seizure scores 13 showed a trend towards reduced severity following ablation treatment (Fig. 2d,e,f ; p = 0.062, two-way RM ANOVA on ranked data).
In contrast, hsa-miR-143-3p exhibited a similar significant suppression effect in 293T cells only (31%, P < 0.001), while the effect in HepG2 cells was marginally significant (14%, P = 0.062).
Analysis of the direct correlation between MMSE score and miR-223-3p serum concentration approached but did not reach significance (p = 0.062; r 2 = 0.218), probably due to limited number of subjects with MMSE lower than 15 (n = 6) (Fig. 2 ).
Early ESCC stage is a predictive makers of better prognosis (P = 0.044) and early HNSCC stage had a favorable trend toward prolonged survival (P = 0.062) in our study.
The total amount of pink fluorescence was only slightly greater in females than in males in both the juvenile (mean ± SE, Males: = 31.54 ± 2.04 mm; Females: 36.31 ± 2.51 mm) and the adult age-classes (Males: = 28.17 ± 1.91 mm; Females: 30.52 ± 1.12 mm), although a comparison of their frequency distributions showed marginally non-significant differences between sexes (age-classes pooled, D = 0.327, P = 0.062; Fig. 2B,D ).
However, SI gene expression was significantly higher in the chlortetracycline group than in the control group, while it showed an increasing trend (P = 0.062) in the L. reuteri group compared with the control group.
