In the quartile-based analysis, both Q2 (OR = 1.631, 95% CI: 1.066–2.496, P = 0.024) and Q3 (OR = 1.738, 95% CI: 1.126–2.682, P = 0.013) were associated with increased mortality risk compared to Q1, while Q4 showed a trend toward significance (OR = 1.734, 95% CI: 0.997–3.013, P = 0.051).
Younger patients (< 60 years) showed a non-significant trend toward higher risk (HR = 1.677, p = 0.087), whereas those ≥ 60 years approached significance (HR = 1.394, p = 0.051), though age interaction was non-significant ( p = 0.544).
Accordingly, diffusivity differences in the superior cerebellar peduncle (SCP) showed a trend with tool use (ASD group, AD: p = 0.051), supporting the notion that alterations of the SCP may be related to motor deficits rather than clinical group membership, in contrast to the decreased diffusivities of the middle cerebellar peduncle, which may be more related to autism core symptomatology.
In the second model of multivariable analysis, taking into account the use vs not-use of medical devices, a strong trend supporting a protective role for diabetes nearly reaching statistical significance was observed (OR 0.64, 95% C.I. 0.41–1.00, p = 0.051).
The results of the Mann–Whitney U test for the fourth wpi are set out in Supplementary Table S1 , and were at the borderline significance level (p = 0.051).
Pearson's correlation yielded nearly significant positive correlations between EHQ scores and implicit muscularity distortion regarding the abdomen (p = 0.051), and the arms and shoulders (p = 0.053).
In IPF patients, the percentages of S100A9 + CD163 − monocytes showed a trend toward a moderate correlation with the serum levels of surfactant protein-D (SP-D) ( r = 0.4158 [95% CI − 0.02042–0.7191], p = 0.051, Table 2 ).
Preliminary analyses performed in a subset of animals (Supplementary Materials) showed a marginally non-significant nonlinear correlation between PhNR amplitude and Aβ42 concentration (Spearman’s ρ = -0.59, p = 0.051).
These little changes of KI males resulted in a nearly significant reduction of the social exploration time along the two phases (Fig. 8 B, p = 0.051 two-tail t-test).
While the rate of successful reperfusion was only marginally significant at 83.3% for patients with a good outcome compared to 50.0% for those with a poor outcome ( p = 0.051), the rate of successful reperfusion of newly embolized territory was significantly higher in the good outcome group (91.7%) than in the poor outcome group (30.8%, p < 0.001), with shorter procedure time (53 ± 27 min vs. 113 ± 55 min, respectively, p < 0.001).
We could also see inverse borderline significant association between methylation site cg11024682 and ABCG 1 gene transcript (β eff = −0.185, P = 0.051) marking a possible trans effect between the methylation locus and the gene annotated to a different chromosome (Supplementary Table 4 ).
However, improvement with envelope expansion was close to significance for pairs differing by both place of articulation and voicing (mean difference: 10.2%; SD: 18.1%; t (31) = 3.2, p = 0.051) and for voiced fricative pairs differing by place of articulation (mean difference: 11.7%; SD: 22.1%; t (31) = 3.0, p = 0.074).
Including cardiorespiratory fitness (VO 2peak ) as covariate in the interaction analysis revealed significant activations in the same clusters as in the original model (except for the cluster peaking in the left supramarginal gyrus, which remained only marginally significant (p = 0.051)).
The exosomes fraction obtained in endometrial cancer compared to endometriosis was of borderline significance (8738 ± 4266 vs. 4723 ± 2854, p = 0.051).
When checked for differences between the two land-use types for major soil variables, a significant difference in TOC (glmm PQL; t = −2.8, p < 0.05) and a marginally significant difference in TN (glmm PQL; t = −2.0, p = 0.051), was present.
