The average duration of single vocalizations was 65±47 ms, with “partially noisy” vocalizations being, on average, about twice as long (115.5±92.3 ms) as “tonal with low click” vocalizations (57.5±29.0 ms), a result that was nevertheless only marginally significant ( t 14 = 2.70, p = 0.017).

There was a marginally significant difference in the IOP between groups (P = 0.0176, mixed-effects model).

Over the whole curve, the FFA level was lower with the LF diet than with the LGI (p<0.0001) and VLC (p<0.0001) diets, and lower by a marginally non-significant amount with the LGI versus the VLC diet (p = 0.018).
A significant trend toward overall homogamy was revealed ( P = 0.018).
NCERS was also a marginally significant predictor of increased NSSI frequency (β = 0.03, p = .018).
However, after controlling for individual differences in gray matter volume, age differences in neural distinctiveness remained highly significant in left primary motor cortex ( t (35) = 2.49, p = 0.018), supplementary motor area ( t (35) = 3.22, p = 0.0028), lateral cerebellum (left: t (35) = 3.56, p = 0.0011); right: t (35) = 3.80, p <0.001), and medial cerebellum ( t (35) = 2.81, p = 0.0081); the age difference in right primary motor cortex was no longer significant ( t (35) = 1.16, n.s. ).

Current or previous smoking (p = .029) showed a trend for association with more frequent CCSVI diagnosis, while use of dietary supplements (p = .018) showed a trend for association with less frequent CCSVI diagnosis.
This was true when hs-cTnT was added to the individual parameters of the FRS (Model 1: HR hs-cTnT 1.02, P = 0.007 and Chi-square change 5.23, P = 0.022) or marginally significant when added to the complete FRS algorithm (Model 2: HR hs-cTnT 1.02, P = 0.018 and Chi-square change 3.58, P = 0.058).
In eyes that showed VHDs at 1 week (n = 25) there was a significant trend towards CST increase (p = 0.018, Jonkheere ́s trend test).
Follow-up contrasts between the familiar face condition and the other three conditions (alpha corrected = .016) revealed marginally significant differences between the familiar face condition and the unfamiliar arrow condition ( p = .018, 95% CI [1.15 to 11.82]) as well as a marginally significant difference between the familiar face and unfamiliar arrow conditions ( p = .02, 95% CI [.90 to 11.82]).
The only apparent difference between CTRL and ALL groups concerned the Δ[HHb] peak values: on average, at peak speed, O 2 extraction in children with ALL was 50% lower than in CTRL, the difference being highly significant (p = 0.018).
However a highly significant between-subjects effect across the three humour groups was revealed: F [2, 280] = 4.078, p = .018, partial η 2 = .028.

The distribution profiles of neurite curvature of the control cases showed a trend depending on their age, resulting in an age-correlated decrease in the standard deviation of neurite curvature (Pearson’s r = -0.80, p = 0.018).
Data revealed a near-significant trend for enhancement of somatosensory sensitivity by visual stimulation (t(9) = 2.885, p = 0.018).
Evidence showed an increasing trend across WC tournaments, indicated by a significant linear relationship between RAE effect size and year of tournament from 1997 to 2015 (Spearman’s φ = .72, p = .018, strong association ).
This difference was highly significant by the Mann-Whitney test ( P = 0.0181).
However, we found a negative trend between number of older siblings and ALL diagnosed at age 0–4 years (OR per sibling 0.85, 95% CI 0.68–1.06; p = 0.141) and a positive trend for ALL diagnosed at age 5–9 (OR 1.34, 95% CI 1.05–1.72; p = 0.019), with some evidence for an effect modification (p-value for interaction = 0.040).
