With the increase in AAAs, OAR and EVAR showed an increasing trend, and EVAR surpassed OAR in 2011.
Excerpts
Even if the association between VES and increased mortality is well known, a recent study demonstrated highly significant mortality rates also associated with clustered ventricular arrhythmia, starting from 2 episodes within three months in patients with implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), and increasing proportionally with the number of arrhythmic episodes [ 4 ].
While all dimensions of the SF-36 showed statistically relevant differences between the cohorts in the initial visit, they were only partially significant in the one-year follow-up and no longer significant in the two-year follow-up.
The result was borderline significant, suggesting a trend towards a difference between the two groups.
In the first cohort, primary implants showed a trend toward fewer failures (e.g., 2-year success ~99% for primary vs. 96% for secondary), but the sample was not large enough for significance.
Research has also demonstrated significant differences in insertion and extraction torques among different implant diameters, with an increasing trend observed for larger diameters [ 34 ].

A clear trend of HR reduction dose-dependency was established in a different observational study (higher doses achieving greater reductions), where an initial dose of 0.125 mg/kg was doubled and quadrupled ( p = 0.0008 and 0.0109, respectively) [ 22 ].
At the T1 time-point, the VAS measurements were recorded to be highly significant in all DED subgroups compared to their respective CTRL counterparts (DRY vs.
For the motor scores of UPDRS III, we found that the group difference showed only a trend towards significance (see Table 2 ), with the PDda group having somewhat greater scores than the PDnda group.
While several topics exhibited an increasing trend, the others remained stable without topics with declining trend.
However, a highly significant decrease in phaco energy consumption by 50% was reported by Chang et al.

In Poland, there has been a positive trend in recent years toward increasing the conservative treatment rate—defined as the ratio of teeth with properly made restorations to the total number of teeth filled and those requiring treatment [ 1 ].
While sex, age, and bifurcation type were significant predictors and syntax score was a borderline significant predictor for long-term mortality, procedural aspects, such as POT or KBI, did not influence the outcomes.

Our analysis confirms high flap survival rates, even in emergency scenarios, and demonstrates a clear trend toward improved outcomes over time—likely attributable to greater surgical experience, technical refinements, and more accurate preoperative planning.
Although not reaching statistical significance, there was a favorable trend toward slowed global VF MD progression after supplementation began, suggesting a possible neuroprotective effect.
Mixed-model crossover analysis confirmed a highly significant treatment effect on both N35–P50 and P50–N95 amplitudes with no evidence of carryover.
However, contemporary studies indicate a decreasing trend in the tendency to extract premolars before orthodontic treatment [ 65 , 66 , 67 ].
The correlation was highly significant for CAL and CgA levels in the CP and AgP group both at baseline and after NSPT. 3.9.
Neither access type nor closure device was significantly associated with major vascular complications; treatment with IVL remained associated with a lower, though borderline non-significant, risk of complications ( Table A1 ).
In the same region, a similar observational study conducted approximately in the same era concluded that after a follow-up of 4 years, CTO recanalization not only significantly improved quality of life, in terms of physical activity limitation, frequency of angina and greater treatment satisfaction, but also showed a trend towards better cardiac survival and significant lower risk of MACE compared to that seen in patients with failed procedures [ 38 ].
These differences were highly significant and support HSV’s advantage in morphological insights into vocal fold oscillations compared to stroboscopy [ 10 , 21 ].
Although the difference did not reach statistical significance, a clear trend toward a lower LMR was observed in HPV-positive individuals.
No significant sex differences emerged in psychiatric comorbidities, but men showed a trend toward higher MDQ positivity, possibly indicating a different depressive phenotype.
The inclusion of five studies involving 1108 participants allowed for a statistical synthesis providing a highly significant OR for the association between atherosclerosis and CAP.
In the Kaplan–Meier curve analysis, the 2-year PFS showed a trend toward better outcomes for patients in the 60 Gy arm; however, the difference was not statistically significant (38.9% vs. 18.7%, p = 0.064) ( Figure 2 B).
