Predictors of Treatment Response Using the Exacerbation Reduction Criterion In the bivariate analysis, the variable that showed a trend towards a reduction in exacerbations was the absence of exacerbations in the previous year ( p = 0.073) ( Table S22 ).
CC) were observed for Pnpla2 (F (1,23) = 29.39, p < 0.0001) and Dgta2 (F (1,23) = 9.719, p = 0.0048), with a trend toward significance for Lpl (F (1,23) = 3.507, p = 0.0733), indicating that CC markedly affected lipid metabolism.
Finally, we found a high correlation of TGFBi and POSTN levels in all pooled experiments with pooled genotypes and treatments (R 2 = 0.266, r = 0.52, p < 0.0001) ( Figure 7 E), which was significant in all genotypes except Stab2−/− , which showed a trend toward a moderate correlation (R 2 = 0.13, r = 0.36, p = 0.0734) ( Figure 7 F). 3.
A decreasing trend in butyrate content was observed (4.13 ± 1.40 vs. 5.14 ± 1.79 mg/g feces, p = 0.0741, Mann–Whitney test), whereas acetate, propionate, and branched-chain fatty acids (iso-butyrate and iso-valerate) concentrations were similar ( p = 0.194, p = 0.874, p = 0.786, and p = 0.467, respectively).
12-month follow-up), a statistically significant difference in MS was observed in the treatment group for the right eye (median MS increased from 24.50 [18.50–27.10] at baseline to 26.00 [22.50–27.70] at 12 months; Δ = +1.50) ( p = 0.0130), while the left eye showed a trend toward significance (median MS increased from 25.40 [15.20–26.70] to 26.10 [17.00–27.30]; Δ = +0.70) ( p = 0.0742).
Furthermore, while Q14 and Q15 showed a trend to mediate higher calcium influx ( p = 0.075 and p = 0.085, respectively), Q16 exhibited a significant ( p ≤ 0.001) higher calcium mobilization when compared to MK-0677 (see Figure 4 A).
Capzimin was found to significantly reduce migration in the D17 cell line, and with borderline significance in the OVC-cOSA-31 cell line ( p = 0.0751) ( Figure 5 D, left).
Moreover, two correlations almost reached significance, the protein levels of TMPRSS2 in AS and NRP1 in AD ( p = 0.0759 and p = 0.0685, respectively) ( Figure 3 B,D).
This significant difference was also apparent for the Z-score ( p = 0.027), whereas only an increasing trend in the T-score ( p = 0.076) was observed in the TR group as compared to CON group ( Table 1 ).
We found that the mRNA of osteopontin (Opn), was reduced in the bone marrow of ApoA1 KO mice, compared to WT, although this reduction slightly missed significance ( p = 0.076).
We found that whole bone marrow cells obtained from ApoA1 deficient mice exhibit robust Vegf mRNA downregulation ( p = 0.02) and notable Opn reduction ( p = 0.007), which, however, did not quite reach statistical significance ( p = 0.076) ( Figure 4 ).
MiR-30d-5p showed a negative correlation with C-peptide levels (rho: −0.218; p = 0.005), with a trend towards significance observed with triglycerides (rho: −0.140; p = 0.076) ( Supplementary Table S2 ). 2.5.
In the genotypic model (among the TT, TC, and CC genotypes), the Kruskal–Wallis test revealed that PLA2G7 rs1051931 showed a trend toward significance in the association with NRS pain scores (genotypic model, p = 0.076, Table 3 ).
However, the observed decrease in HDAC4 gene expression between low- to high-Poly E concentrations ( Figure 4 D) was a 0.33-fold change, which approached significance ( p -value = 0.076).
However, SNP rs2829806 showed a weak trend toward significance, both in the allelic association (P = 0.076) and under a dominant mode of inheritance (P = 0.055; data not shown).
This model was additionally characterized by a marginal trend for DHEA (negative, p = 0.076), whereas estradiol showed no statistically significant association ( p = 0.094) and BMI was excluded from the final equation.
