The results suggest that βIII-tubulin, survivin, and CA IX may be significant drug resistance markers and the clinical regulation of their activity may be an effective means of reversing this resistance.

Indeed, the subfraction HbA1c, glycated at the amino-terminal valine residue of the β chain, may be significant with increased level of blood glucose over prolonged periods of time and, for this reason, is considered an important biomolecular marker for evaluating long term control of diabetes.
