Since the interactions between studied ionic surfactants and BSA are quite significant (mainly at pH 7.0) and the effect of temperature is rather small, it shows that these compounds can be stored and transported by the protein in the body [ 77 ].

A higher rate of Chlamydia trachomatis was observed in infectious infertility women when compared to non-infectious group, while a progressive decrement of Lactobacillus species was detected in healthy volunteers, non-infectious, and infectious infertility women (78.3%, 69%, and 58%), respectively; on the contrary, Gardnerella vaginalis was seen with an increasing trend in the same groups (5%, 6%, and 10%) and a similar trend was observed also for Prevotella and Sneathia .

This difference between both systems may be significant under oxidative stress conditions since the formation of the semiquinone radical could lead to the production of O 2 •− upon by its reaction with molecular oxygen, as reported, by the mitochondrial redox chain and, also found by C b 5 R reacting with CoQ mimetics [ 28 ].

At baseline, young and elderly female mice had no perceptible differences in echocardiographic parameters, but histological analyses showed a trend to higher cardiomyocyte CSA and significantly higher collagen deposition in elderly versus young animals.

At 15–16 dpf, we observed a decreasing trend in mortality and hence, mortality of larvae from 23 dpf to 36 dpf was recorded ( Figure 3 ). 4.5.

However, ClPRX06 showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing in the three periods of the two different materials.

Effect of GCs on the Amino Acid Transporter SLC7A7 We extracted RNA after DEX treatment for 48h in porcine skeletal muscle cells and used QPCR to determine the mRNA expression levels of relevant amino acid transporters, which revealed a highly significant downregulation of the mRNA expression levels of the amino acid transporters SLC1A3 , SLC7A7 , and SLC7A10 ( Figure S1 ).

Finally, the 2 −ΔΔ Ct method was used for data analysis, and one-way analysis of variance was performed to determine the significance at p < 0.05 (significant) and p < 0.01 (extremely significant).

A Q-score higher than 0.1 can indicate some possibly significant level of structural similarity.

A recently published meta-analysis of 14 eligible studies showed that circulating fetuin-A levels are significantly higher in patients with MetS compared to controls, with a possible trend towards an increase in the risk of MetS with an increase in the circulating fetuin-A concentrations [ 87 ].

The significance of the difference between T1084 treatment in comparison with T1023 and Na-DCA was confirmed at the later stages of both experiments by highly significant statistical differences in tumor volume ( Figure 4 A,B) and in growth inhibition indices in the treated animals ( Figure 4 C,D).

At the level of the ankle, histological analysis also confirmed a significant reduction of inflammation for the anti-IL17A therapy ( p = 0.047) compared to the vehicle control, while dual blockade and anti-TNF therapies only showed a trend of reduced inflammation ( Figure 2 d), which did not reach significance.

The reviewed biosensors demonstrate a strong trend to build analytical systems that are easy to use, owing to the exclusion of extra steps in sample preparation and the employment of additional labelling compounds.

An extremely significant issue becomes a better understanding of the nature of the studied biological phenomenon, which is possible by using a systems approach through developing and analyzing a mathematical model based on a Petri net.

The data suggest a marginal trend towards the higher expression of gene Nkx2.5 on both platform materials on day 15 after electrostimulation ( Figure 4 A).

But a weak trend of decreasing adherence with an increasing distance of structural features could be observed only in part and was not significant due to large inter- and intra-individual variability.

In part, there seemed to be a decreasing trend of adherent cells with increasing periodicities and structure sizes, but this pattern was weak and irregular.

The in vivo cytokine data showed that SA-CpG1668/tripodna increased the cytokine level selectively in the inguinal draining lymph nodes ( Figure 7 ), with a decreasing trend in plasma ( Figure 8 ).

A similar process was an observed trend for ALnCuS 3 (A = Eu, Sr) [ 10 , 42 ].

In LPS pregnant females treated by plain media, proteinuria showed a trend of decrease from day 13 to 17 relative to day 12, even though it was not significant and less dramatic compared to CM-treated mice ( Figure 1 C).

Most notably, the extremely significant increase in the content of cyanidin-3- O -rutinoside and pelargonine-3- O -rutinoside produced this difference ( Table S5 ).

The abundance of carotenoids was significantly reduced in salt-treated WT plants, and in atsyt plants, this decrease was statistically highly significant ( Figure 5 E).

Surprisingly, subjects with both radiographic and biochemical recurrence expressed a marginally significant increase of SAT1/2 level in prostate tissue than those without recurrence [ 34 ].

Historical Context A clear trend emerges of some cancer fields having been investigated more and with varying degrees of methodological sophistication.

There is, however, an increasing trend toward applying ‘relative expression factors’ (REFs) to IVIVE.
