Supporting this possibility, differences in tissue Pro were manifested during recovery, when Col-0 sharply reduced the Pro content (half levels at R-6h vs P-24h), while p5cdh did not consume it, and even manifested a slight trend to increase the amino acid level (Figure 3A ).
In treated individuals, de novo methylation and demethylation occurred simultaneously (Excel S4 and Supplementary Figure S5 ), but methylation of these candidate sequences showed a decreasing trend, with the methylation under heat treatment declining more than under cold treatment, and the methylation level in m CNG context being lower than in m CG and unmethylated.
With regard to the traits related to second-generation bioethanol production, the results presented here showed a trend of general low repeatability estimates.
The large differential expression of putative cuticle synthesis genes in the Arabidopsis data may be significant to an interpretation of the role of IDA signaling in abscission (discussed below).
reported an increasing trend (but statistically insignificant) in total chlorophyll content in cucumber ( Cucumis sativus ) treated with 400 and 800 mg/kg bare-ZnO NP in soil (Zhao et al., 2013b ).
bungeanum (Figure 4C ), however, the average temperature in July (1.40), maximum temperature in July (1.36), mean annual temperature (1.34), and elevation (1.21) were extremely significant ecological factors (Figure 4D ), and the annual precipitation (0.46), sunshine duration (0.38) relative humidity (0.13) were unimportant ecological factors.
By contrast, a highly significant negative correlation with summer temperatures (from June to September) was observed in P. pinaster ( r = −0.5 with T min , r = −0.6 with T max , and r = −0.6 with mean temperature), where the most negative correlations were found in July ( r = −0.5 with T min , r = −0.6 with T max , and r = −0.6 with mean temperature; Figure 5C ).
In the pairwise comparison of the different families, the family 2860 showed a higher frequency of IADFs type L compared with family 2818, and between family 2514 and 2860, it was marginally significant (Table 3 , Figure 6 ).
Research done on the rhizosphere of the pea plant has shown that incredibly significant differences in the rhizosphere microbial community may be occurring at the domain or kingdom level where the pea plant supports a higher eukaryotic population compared to prokaryotes ( Turner et al., 2013 ).
Finally, we found the interaction term “site × sex” was significant for NSC (and marginally significant for SS), with females showing higher NSC concentrations in the Site-B than females in the Site-A, while concentrations in males did not differ between the sites ( Table 1 , Figures 2D,E ).
Results Sexual Dimorphism in Carbohydrate Content Mean yearly NSC concentration was 3.6%, showing a highly significant seasonal variation ( Table 1 , Figure 2A ).
These findings are highly significant, given that BAK1 is a key component in various plant-biotic interactions, including the recently discovered resistance to aphids ( Prince et al., 2014 ).
