Aligned with this observation, CD4+CD25+CD127+foxP3-Teff cells were recently suggested as a possible marker for monitoring disease activity, as patients with stable disease showed a trend for reduced levels of such population, with reduced Teff: Treg ratios ( 49 ).
Excerpts
a clear trendgold
Changes due to vaccination or altered housing conditions did not show a clear trend in total CD4 + T cell counts.
an obvious trendgold
Although without statistic difference, patients in the low cuproptosis signature group showed an obvious trend of higher response rates to immunotherapy in GSE135222 , GSE100797 and PMID26359337 cohorts ( Figures 6B–D ).
Then, we checked the expression of CD80, CD86 and MHC-II using flow cytometry after 18h CpG stimulation and observed significant increase in SMRT KD BMcDC1 compared to controls whereas MHC-I showed an increasing trend ( Figure 1C and Supplementary Figure 2C ).
Such increase was minor in HL-60 cells (1.2-fold), as most MRTF-A was nuclear prior to the jasplakinolide treatment, but quite significant in knockout cells (2.3 and 2.5-fold).
P-values <0.01 were considered as highly significant.
Except that activated CD4 T cells and Type 2 T helper cells were significantly enriched in MYCN positive NB, the infiltration level of other immune cells showed an increasing trend in MYCN negative NB.
Other class I HLA alleles and class II alleles HLA-B*08:01, B*40:02, DRB1*04: 01, DRB1*04: 05, DRB1*14: 01 and DRB1*16: 02 also had a clear trend of greater frequency, while DRB1*15:01 of lower frequency, but did not reach statistical significance after Bonferroni’s correction, probably because of the small sample size.
An interesting trend was observed after exposure to BCKAs, where all clusters of late responses of BCKAs groups, especially KIC, have shifted away from the DMEM (control) group ( Figure 4A ).
Serum growth-related parameters With an increase in taurine content, the GH levels in serum showed a trend of increase (0.4–1.2%) and subsequent decrease (1.2–1.6%, Figure 2A ).
Nevertheless, APD 70 and APD 90 presented a nonsignificant trend towards decreased mean values in infected versus noninfected hearts from both the WT and Il-1r −/− groups.
However, HER2-High yielded lower percentages of CD69+ cells than HER2-Mid in all bead-to-cell ratios, which was an unexpected trend.
Similarly, IL-8, a strong chemoattractant and activator of neutrophils also showed a trend down over time, but in this case there was a significant difference between COVID-19 and healthy plasma ( Figures 3G, H ), which aligns to our previous findings and others associating increased IL-8 in the severity of COVID-19 ( 8 ).
Sirolimus combo pretreatment in vivo significantly attenuated the Co-mV induced IgM Sp and IgG Sp production, which correlated with a decreasing trend in the early levels (after day 1) of Co-mV induced Sp immunogen levels.
PQS reduced the expression of IL-1β and IDO1 genes ( Figure 6A ), with a strong, but not quite significant, effect on IDO2.
To enhance the visualization, after normalization (each country’s annual issuance divided by its overall national issuance separately) it represents that China’s research in this area has been on an increasing trend since 2003, the US annual issuance has been relatively stable, and after 2012, the major research countries have increased their research momentum ( Figure 3B ).
Highly significant proteins in this group are related to the proteolytic balance in the extracellular matrix (ECM) (MMP7 and MMP1) and TNFα signaling pathways (TNFα, TWEAK).
Proteins were considered replicated when the corresponding gene was nominally significant and directionally concordant with the proteome. 2.6 Predictive modelling Two separate linear regression models were used to predict (i) COVID-19 disease severity and (ii) the time after SARS-CoV-2 infection.
extremely significantqualified
Studies have shown that exosomal miRNAs have extremely significant regulatory effects on cell growth, proliferation, differentiation, angiogenesis, and immuno-regulation.
An increasing trend in NFIL3 expression was detected along with the severity of disease activity, but there were no significant differences.
Another point to explore regarding TLR-mediated infection resistance is the potential role of organ protection and augmented efferocytosis, as the degree of bacterial clearance did not correlate with the magnitude of survival benefit and also Poly I:C-treated mice showed a trend, towards reduced bacterial burden.
Liu and colleagues characterized spike- and RBD-specific MBC upon inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine administration, showing that MBC persisted despite a decreasing trend over a 5-month time frame between second and third immunization, and that the third dose significantly increased the antigen-specific MBC ( 51 ).
a strong trendgold
There was a strong trend towards a lower cytokine level in RvD2 treated mice, but only IL-23 levels were significantly lower.
To further validate the signature, we applied it to the testing group and all samples, and the results showed a trend consistent with the training group ( Figures 5B–E ).
Although strains may share a common ancestor and sub-lineage, there may be significant point mutations and antigenic changes between evolving strains of the same sub-lineage (e.g., BA.2.12 versus BA.2.12.1), resulting in different antibody cross-neutralization upon infection ( 12 ).
