In contrast, IL10 and IL23A mRNA expression showed a trend to increase (Figure 5 C).

We also observed a clear trend of highest production of these cytokines in PBMC from LTBI donors, though this did not reach statistical significance due to a small sample size (n=12).

Of importance, there was a highly significant and consistent association between a marked increase in overall patient survival, the value of the mean score of the GES, and the presence of TL-TLSs in stage IV (non-locoregional) melanoma, colorectal cancer, and, most recently, in stage IV bladder cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and certain types of breast cancer, especially in basal and HER2 + patients.

There were no significant differences in their immunoreactivity between the three population groups, except for PE31, which showed a trend toward higher immunoreactivity with BCG-vaccinated healthy individuals compared to patients with TB, although this difference was not statistically significant ( p=0.0863 ) ( Figure 2A ).

Moreover, a strong trend for a positive coherence with increasing abdominal pain was noted (Figure S3 B in Supplementary Material).

The only correlation that was approaching significance was that of changes in α4β1 expression with changes in HBI score, suggesting that decrease of the former might go along with increase of the latter parameter.

This was backed up by a highly significant correlation of increasing αEβ7 on CD8 + T cells with looser stool consistency and increasing CRP.

The combined FTS and MTX therapy only induced a marginally significant reduction in the percentage of Th1 cells as compared to FTS alone therapy (Figures 4 A,B).

The density of PV and non-PV CD163+ TAMs showed a trend towards a reduction in the stroma of the NAC +Mets group compared to the NAC DF group although this achieved significance only in the non-PV group ( Supplementary Figure 1A ).

Variants rs5029937, rs5029939, and F127C have previously been reported to associate with RA and SLE and showed a trend toward lower levels in this study ( 45 , 46 ).

We observed highly significant positive correlations between phosphorylated IkBα (Figure 2 A), MAP kinase (e.g., ERK, JNK) and TNFAIP3 levels.
