Rats treated with 10 mg/kg intraperitoneal (IP) injection of the NBMPR prodrug, 6‐nitrobenzylthioinosine 5′‐monophosphate (NBMPR‐P), or vehicle, followed by an intravenous (IV) bolus 10 mg/kg dose of clofarabine, showed a trend toward a lower testis concentration of clofarabine than vehicle (1.81 ± 0.59 vs. 2.65 ± 0.92 ng/mg tissue; p = .1160).
Patients with progression to the first treatment showed a trend towards shorter PFS, which was not statistically significant (4.5 months [95% CI: 2.4–6.6 months] vs. 7 months [95% CI: 1.6–12.4 months], p = 0.116).

Although the Ki-67 index also showed a trend toward association with axillary pCR (OR = 0.96; 95% CI: 0.90–1.01, p = 0.117), it did not reach statistical significance on the univariate analysis.
Table 5 shows that there is no statistically significant difference for age, gender ratio, logistic EuroSCORE risk, EQ-5D and EQ-VAS between the patients with or without 2-year QoL information, with the exception of a statistically significantly higher proportion of sedentary patients without 2-year QoL information (52 versus 30 %, p = 0.021). The 57 patients with complete preoperative and 2-year postoperative QoL information showed a trend to an increase for the EQ-5D from 0.72 ± 0.25 (0.80), 0.07–1.00 preoperative to 0.77 ± 0.24 (0.02–1.00) postoperative ( p = 0.117).
Adjuvant chemotherapy showed a trend toward improved disease-free survival (DFS) in both the primary cohort (P = 0.117, log-rank test) and the validation cohort (P = 0.342), but these did not reach statistical significance individually.

Total Neoadjuvant Therapy In a cohort of 85 LARC patients (many of whom were treated with TNT) undergoing serial plasma ctDNA assessments, TNT showed a trend towards an increased tumor response (odds ratio or OR 2.9, 95% CI 0.8–12.3, p = 0.1178), but there was no association between pre-neoadjuvant therapy and post-neoadjuvant therapy ctDNA status and tumor response [ 57 ].
As shown in Fig 4 , relative expression of miR-133b compared to untreated controls showed a trend of upregulation of 2.3-fold when treated with 1μm 5-Aza-2’-C (p = 0.1179).
Analysis of all cases showed a trend toward better prognosis for H3K27M mutation cases (P=0.118), while TERT was significantly worse for the mutation type with 29.2 months for wild type vs. 9.3 months for the mutation type (P=0.026).
The net ABM‐PLBM effect showed a trend of decreasing skin roughness that was not statistically significant at T1 ( P = 0.1180) but was statistically significant at T2, when a decrease of about 9% ( P = 0.0000) was observed, as shown in Figure 5 .
