The number of EPCs showed an increasing trend in the teneligliptin treated group; albeit this did not reach statistical significance.

The difference in PFS in this indirect comparison showed a trend favouring trabectedin, but did not reach statistical significance with a p value of 0.074.

Overall, survival analyses showed a trend toward better OS for HPV-positive (67% survival) compared to HPV-negative (27% survival) patients but that did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.12), most probably due to the small number of HPV-positive cases ( Figure 4 A). 2.3. p16Ink4a Protein Immunohistochemical (IHC) Staining In view of the small number of HPV-positive HNSCC patients found in this cohort, and the limited amount of pathological materials available, a subset of 50 representative specimens were processed for p16 protein IHC staining.

Although there was a positive trend for improvement in leg pain for those with a shorter duration of symptoms, this did not reach statistical significance in our study.

Furthermore, the proportions of CD4 + T cells and CD8 + T cells expressed TIM-3 exhibited a decreasing trend after Tα1 treatment, however, did not reach statistical significance (CD4 + TIM-3 + , 4.9% vs. 3.4%; CD8 + TIM-3 + , 12.3% vs. 8.9%, Figs. 2 G and 3 G).

Pyruvate carboxylase and G6Pase showed an increasing trend but did not reach statistical significance.

Although P -values did not reach statistical significance, low IC-PDL-1 and CD45RO infiltration showed a trend of negative effect on DFS with HRs of 2.015 and 1.902 (95% CI: 0.969–4.191 and 0.898–4.029).

The density of CC1+ cells showed a trend of increase in both susceptible and resilient mice but did not reach statistical significance.

The median EFS showed a trend toward improvement with AZA plus pevonedistat (21.0 months versus 16.6 months, respectively) though also did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.076).

However, in the univariate analysis of the R 3 to <6 months/T group, the metastatic locations did not reach statistical significance, but a positive trend was noted.

Evaluation of jerk forces at the shoulder in this study showed a trend toward high jerk forces with sliders compared to fastballs [ 46 ], but this did not reach statistical significance with our limited sample of pitchers.

The faces scale, a subset of the BRWP, showed a trend toward benefit but did not reach statistical significance (p=0.085).

The difference between obese and non-obese patients in the higher SML group showed a clear trend but did not reach statistical significance(median CSS: 605.0 days vs. 1196.0 days, P = 0.330, Fig. 4 b).

Additionally, patients who received radiotherapy at multiple sites showed a trend to have improved OS compared to those who received radiotherapy at a single site, although the difference did not reach statistical significance.

While a direct comparison between isotype and anti-IFNγ treated mice inoculated with BCG prior to viral challenge did not reach statistical significance, animals treated with anti-IFNγ showed a clear trend towards more severe disease and higher viral loads (Fig. 2F, G ).

Both EE and the combined treatment also showed a trend to improve NOR test performance in TG mice, but in this case, the effect did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 3A ).

Although our analysis showed a trend toward reduced information processing speed in relation to higher relative spectral theta and alpha1 power (see Supplementary Information ) and mimicked the results from the previous studies, they did not reach statistical significance.

Rows and thickness of INL in the central retina were also decreased in WT-21 m/Veh and 3xTg-21 m/Veh mice, and chronic treatment with P021 prevented these changes in 3xTg-21 m mice; although there was an obvious trend, the rescue of INL thickness by P021 treatment did not reach statistical significance ( Figures 3B,D,F ).

Moreover, pre-addition of the hFFAR2 antagonist/inverse agonist CATPB not only prevented the MOMBA-induced enhanced detection of the receptor protein by the pSer 296 /pSer 297 antiserum but showed a trend to reduce this below basal levels ( Figure 4A ) although this did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 4B ).

While no correlation was found between fractional Lac (Lac/Total Carbon) and survival, the changes in fractional Bic (Bic/Total Carbon) between baseline and post treatment showed a trend in the tumor region but did not reach statistical significance (the mean value decreased in the deceased cohort from 0.03 to 0.02, and increased in the survivors from 0.025 to 0.032.

The survival analysis showed a trend towards a worse prognosis for new-onset AF and stroke in female subjects, although this did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.055).

The number of copies of HAdV and ALT values showed a trend to higher values, but those data did not reach statistical significance ( Table 5 ).

Finally, teneligliptin showed an increasing trend in the number of EPCs, albeit this did not reach statistical significance.

Although there was an increasing trend of HR of the 5-year OS of patients with CRC with the increasing number of hypermethylated genes in normal tissue, this difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.33) (Table 3 ).
