The former implies an increasing trend of the out-of-center migration 46 , while the later implies the decline of Beijing in terms of absorbing local migrants which reinforces the finding that the attractiveness of Beijing is reduced in the absolute sense.
Excerpts
These patients showed a significant trend of a reduction in the levels of SPP24 at the primary endpoint (i.e. pre- to post-treatment ratio increased in remission).
These findings were consistent with regional distribution of CHD incidence, which showed a decreasing trend from north to south in Shaanxi province.
The relative content of CH 4 in the gaseous reaction products ranged from 39.84 to 48.02%, while that of CO 2 exhibited a decreasing trend with increasing heating time.
A p value of < 0.05 was considered significant, and p < 0.01 was considered highly significant.
Furthermore, l -theanine was also associated with a trend of increased SSRT compared to placebo (β = 0.04, p = 0.053) that approached significance.
We also noted a statistical trend of increase in the SSRT (i.e. a trend of deterioration of inhibitory control) with the intake of l -theanine.
The fitting degree of these equations was significant or highly significant, demonstrating the suitability of these models to diagnose N deficiency and fertilization needs in maize plants grown in the hilly areas of central Sichuan.
Calculated resistance to capillary flow showed a decreasing trend during exercise (L0 versus exercise levels 1–3), but did not reach statistical significance (p = 0.21 for L0 versus L1, Fig. 2 h).
Results The probabilities (significance or approached significance) for a group effect, a time effect and the group-by-time interaction were shown in the figures, and the probabilities for differences in discrete endpoints are given in the text.
Some researchers found a highly significant association between the contact with MDR-TB patient and incident MDR-TB 6 , 17 , 36 .

Epidemiologic studies show that there is a clear trend of significantly decreasing risk of EOC with increasing numbers of pregnancies and deliveries, extended duration of oral contraceptive use, and extended duration of breastfeeding, all of which are associated with lower levels of and reduced exposure to FSH 6 .
Probe trials after removal of the hidden escape platform showed a trend towards reduced time TAU58/2.muMT −/− mice spent in the target quadrant and increased time in the opposite quadrant of the MWM as compared with controls, but differences did not reach significance (Fig. 2 d).
There was also a decreasing trend in the phosphorylation of STAT1 after BMDC adoptive transfer.
According to this, the reduction of alpha-AAA concentration was accompanied by an increasing trend of KYN after 5-year AP treatment.
Occludin and Claudin-4 mRNA levels displayed a decreasing trend in DSS-treated Ch25h -deficient mice (Fig. 3 A).
ZO-2, Occludin, Claudin-1, Claudin-3 and Claudin-4 mRNA levels displayed an increasing trend in 25-HC- and DSS-treated mice compared to DSS-treated mice (Fig. 5 D).
Testicular blood vessel’s areas were similar in both karyotypes up to 21 dpp, but highly significant differences were noted for time point 15 wpp for 41,XX Y* mice showing a reduced blood vessel area growth (Fig. 2 b).
The effect of repetition (habituation) was highly significant (Tables S2 and S4), which was expected 76 .
With regard to our main hypothesis, we found that during syncO, female participants indicated feeling significantly less feminine and male participants significantly less masculine than during the baseline, syncS, and asyncS control conditions; the difference between syncO and asyncO showed a significant trend in the hypothesized direction (Fig. 1 g; Tables S2 and S3 ).
However, with the further increases in concentration, the ROS content levels showed an increasing trend, which may indicate that the cells could not repair the damage caused by exposure to high concentrations of dust 37 .
Following this analysis, we concluded that although some overfitting of the methods could be responsible for the 100% correct identification and for the high AUC values in classification, highly significant results could be obtained effortlessly and in different ways, e.g., with the ‘drift’ (total movement) of the eyes (Fig. 5 e), or even with pupil size modulation (Fig. 5 f); see the “Robustness” section above.
Therefore, we cannot conclude with certainty, that the borderline significant results in a change of functionality included in the 12 months’ model for FFbH are due to an existing association or the dependency to the change at landmark time 6.
The average wind speed of 285 stations in China displayed an increasing trend, mainly distributed in the eastern coast, northeast Heilongjiang Province and a small part of the Yangtze River Basin.
This may be significant, as this region seems to be the optimal target for electrode implantation 4 .
