By performing a linear regression analysis, highly significant linear correlations between enzyme concentration and the rate of change of the fluorescence signal was seen ( Fig. 6d ).

When comparing the RFU of lignin at different concentrations, an increasing trend was observed, which reached a plateau above 2.5 mg/ml of lignin ( Fig. 2b ).

In general, δ 13 C of C 2 -C 4 diacids showed an increasing trend with decreasing chain length.
