The statistical significance level was established at p < 0.05, however, we also reported a marginally significant effect at 0.06 > p > 0.05.

A Friedman test shows a borderline significant difference in pressure pain thresholds between the groups ( p = 0.050).When groups are tested pairwise with a Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, statistically significant differences can be found.

Whereas the simple main effect of the block was marginally significant in the phone-present condition, F (1.48, 41.42) = 3.53, p = 0.05, η 2 = 0.0498, there were no significant differences between the blocks.
Furthermore, the different dressing groups under study were highly significant with regard to their performance ( p < 0.05).

Protein content White soft cheese showed a clearly significant ( P < 0.05) decrease in protein content during the pickling period in all treatments.
Results from PrediXcan 30 (in blood) supported our hypothesis that parents would have higher predicted gene expression than their children when testing dominant and recessive DD genes containing putatively damaging PTVs, but this result was only nominally significant and did not pass multiple testing correction ( p < 0.05) (Supplementary Fig. 9 ).
In contrast, logistic regression analysis conducted on males (as detailed in Table 4 ) demonstrated a positive trend between α-Klotho levels and hyperlipidemia ( P > 0.05).
Results were considered significant according to GraphPad Prism: *indicates p-value 0.01 to 0.05 (significant), **Indicates p-value 0.001 to 0.01 (very significant), ***Indicates p < 0.001 (extremely significant), ns = not significant (p > 0.05).
The Acinetobacter were more abundant in group A (Student’s t -test was borderline significant, p = 0.05), and the Xanthomonads were significantly more abundant in group B (Student’s t -test, p = 0.03).
The only exception was when including frequency of attendance as a covariate, where the effects were in the expected direction but the a path was only marginally significant ( p = 0.050), Index of Moderated Mediation = 0.957, CI[− 0.016, 2.368].
We annotate statistically significant (P < 0.002) associations in Tables and note nominally significant (0.002 < P < 0.05) associations below.
III) showed a marginal significance of p = 0.050 and 0.051, respectively.

There was a highly significant difference ( p < 0.05) in the crude fat percentages observed in the interaction of sorghum with rice, sorghum with teff , and rice with teff , as shown by the linear and quadratic models (R2 = 0.9733) (Table 2 ).
Inter-group difference in ΔCs for the normal and suspected R-HDL was marginally significant (1.75 ± 0.72 m/s versus 1.83 ± 0.75 m/s, p = 0.05) while an insignificant difference was observed for the normal and suspected L-WC (1.78 ± 0.74 m/s versus 1.85 ± 0.75 m/s, p = 0.20).

The P-value reflects the regression effect of the parameter 53 – 55 , P < 0.0001 means the regression effect of the factor is extremely significant, 0.0001 ≤ P ≤ 0.05 means the regression effect of the factor is significant, and P ≥ 0.05 means the regression effect of the factor is insignificant 56 – 58 .
Optimization of antibiotic production by response surface methodology (RSM) The results showed that the linear and quadratic effects of pH, temperature, inoculum volume, and agar concentrations were highly significant (P < 0.05), but the interactive effects of agar concentrations and inoculum volumes were insignificant (P > 0.05).
