During the first three days of storage, the respiration rate of bok choy in all groups showed a decreasing trend ( Table 2 ), which might be due to the inhibition of respiration by low temperature [ 25 ].
Excerpts
Genetic Variation and Broad Sense Heritability (H 2 ) of Traits Analysis of variance (ANOVA) for all nine agronomic traits examined revealed highly significant differences among both gene and water treatments ( Table 2 ).
With the development of the growth process, the activity of CAT and SOD in the flag leaf were exhibited a trend of first increasing and then decreasing across the three growth stages in all three groups, while the activity of POD exhibited an increasing trend.
Fruit Yield, Dry Matter Content, and Refractometric Index Data analysis revealed that the interaction between the cultivation system (S) and hybrid (H) had highly significant effects on all the growth parameters analyzed, including fresh weight, dry weight, dry matter percentage, and fruit weight ( Table 2 ), with the sole exception of the number of fruits and fruit yield, for which the interaction was not significant.
In contrast, the survival rates of grafted seedlings by chip budding and patch budding showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing from March to July and from August to November.
Enterobacteriaceae and fungal counts also showed an increasing trend.
MDS was higher in T0, showing having an increasing trend after DOY 31 (31 January) whereas decreased during DOY 36–43 (5–12 February) when rainfall occurred following an increase in water potential, while its values increased again, surpassing those of TI until the end of the experimental period ( Figure 5 b).
We believe that leaf relative water content, Pn, SOD and MDA may be significant determinants of drought resistance, which is consistent with previous studies [ 66 ].
zhennan exhibited an increasing trend during drought stress, with the maximum value reaching 0.6 μmol/g.
The magnesium (Mg) content in the leaves showed an increasing trend with time, with the maximum value occurring during the fruiting stage at 0.57% and the minimum during the nutrient stage at 0.43%, with a difference of 0.14%.
The phosphorus (P) content in the stems showed a decreasing trend with time, with the maximum value occurring during the nutrient stage at 0.44% and the minimum value occurring during the fruiting stage at 0.14%, with a difference of 0.30%.
The results of NDVI show an increasing trend with mean values rising from 0.30 in 2018 to 0.42 in 2023.
From 2018 to 2023, mean temperature values indicate a slightly increasing trend. 2.3.
The statistical analysis showed highly significant differences in nematode counts per 20 mg of thorax and abdomen tissue across the five districts, highlighting regional variability in nematode load within M. alternatus . 2.4.
Interestingly, the strain of LY1F showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing, reaching the highest OD value of growth at a 20% concentration.
On the other hand, the paternal effect on the seeding pattern was only marginally significant.
Both LAI and Pn in all growth stages exhibited an increasing trend in the order of CR > CF > DAP > CC ( Figure 1 and Figure 2 ). 2.2.
Continuous soybean cropping can reduce the leaf photosynthetic rate and grain yield, with both showing a decreasing trend as the duration of continuous cropping increases.
Overall, FB and SB exhibited relatively stable soluble protein levels throughout the developmental stages, whereas LB showed a pronounced trend of initial decline followed by a marked increase.
Natural variation and QTL: Studies using genome-wide association (GWAS) and quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping have shown quite significant genetic variety in efficiency of Mg uptake and Mg stress toleration.
Both root and shoot total phosphorus contents exhibited an increasing trend with higher phosphorus supply.
The difference between stress treatments and their respective controls was highly significant, indicating substantial disruption of plant water homeostasis.
Correlation Between Vegetation Index (VI) and PNC Pearson correlation analysis between vegetation indices and alfalfa PNC ( Figure 2 ) revealed that during the branching stage, PNC showed highly significant correlations with SIPI, MCARI, and REOSAVI, with correlation coefficients of 0.67, 0.59, and 0.57, respectively.
The average PNC of alfalfa exhibited a decreasing trend with advancing growth stages, with values of 3.31%, 2.75%, and 2.64% at the branching stage, budding stage, and initial flowering stage, respectively. 2.2.

Tree growth in WW had a clear trend of slow followed by rapid growth; DB increased by 387% for 711 plants and 395% for NS8 plants in WW.
