Under T1–T4 in the CK, there was no significant difference in the degree of stomatal opening and closing; under T1–T4 at pH = 4.5, a significant difference in the degree of stomatal opening and closing was observed; and under T1–T4 at pH = 4.0, an extremely significant difference in the degree of stomatal opening and closing was noted ( Figure S7 ). 2.5.
Although the difference was not statistically significant, a clear trend indicated that the chopped-thallus method nearly doubled the transformation efficiency compared to the traditional method ( Figure 4 and Figure 5 ).
The soil MBN showed an increasing trend with the shrub encroachment extent, but MBC showed significant differences in grassland types and shrub encroachment extent compared to grassland types, while MBN only showed significant differences in shrub encroachment extent compared to grassland types ( p < 0.05). 3.2.
Although the PERMANOVA results do not provide conclusive evidence for grouping species by the studied areas or environmental variables, a clear trend was observed, indicating a relationship between AM species and specific environmental soil factors.
In the PLS-PM models ( Figure 3 ), the path coefficient for the environmental factor on female vegetative growth is −0.400 with a p -value of 0.08, which is close to the significance threshold of 0.05, suggesting a potential negative impact of the environment on vegetative growth, though this effect is not fully significant.
AhCNGC4.1 had already exceeded CK by 5 times at 6 h, reached the highest level at 12 h, and then decreased, but still showed extremely significant high expression 24 h after treatment.
The results on fertilization in saline alkali farmland indicated that there is a highly significant positive correlation between maize yield and contents of organic matter, total nitrogen, and available phosphorus, and a significant negative correlation with pH [ 41 ].
The number of uniquely up-regulated DEGs was 2105, 960, and 512, respectively, while uniquely down-regulated DEGs were 1940, 1190, and 77, all following a decreasing trend.
Moreover, the amount of total proteins has a highly significant negative correlation (R ≥ 0.8) with the enzymatic activity of APX, GPX, SOD, and CAT. 2.2.
Intra-Group Comparisons of Structural Features in Each Year The analysis of the structural features ( Figure 5 ) indicates that the mean density values for 2021 at the six sites are statistically significant, while the mean of the fresh weight is only marginally significant.
One week after fertilization, the fertilized egg continued to divide, with an increasing trend in IAA content, indicating that the cell division of the fertilized egg cell requires a large amount of IAA.
Integrating the changes in different calcium forms in the fruits and fruit stalks under 2,4-D treatment ( Figure 3 and Figure 4 ), both the 2,4-D-treated and control groups exhibited an increasing trend in water-soluble calcium in the fruits and fruit stalks, while the contents of calcium pectin, calcium phosphate, calcium oxalate, residual calcium, and total calcium showed decreasing trends.
hainanica leaves exhibited an overall declining trend with the extension of drought stress, whereas the soluble protein content displayed an increasing trend ( Figure 9 ).
As the drought stress duration extended, the δ 2 H value of DR leaves exhibited an increasing trend; however, there was little change from 2 h to 4 h, followed by a sharp increase from 6 h to 8 h ( Figure 2 ).
Under drought stress conditions, as the duration of stress increased, the δ 2 H value of MR leaves showed a trend of first increasing, then decreasing, and finally increasing again, reaching its maximum at 8 h.
However, these parents did not show highly significant desirable GCA effects for RFW and SDW when exposed to salinity, and neither of the other parents did.
