Except for the interannual normal fluctuation, the annual runoff shows a decreasing trend with a variation rate of −1.34 m 3 /s·a, which does not reach 90% significant level.

In general, the analysis of runoff variation trend and of the contribution rate of its main influencing factors in the typical karst watershed for nearly half a century may be significant to solve the drought problem in the karst region and for the sustainable development of the drainage basin.

Although marginally significant in the univariate analysis, we did not found that maternal ESBL-PE colonization significantly increases the risk of ESBL-PE carriage for the newborns in the multivariate model.

However, the marginal significance of our simple slope analyses underscores the need for caution in interpretation of these findings, and reveal a need for further research into this question.

Highly significant negative values of Fs and small positive values of R2 indicate population growth whereas positive Fs values can result from balancing selection, population bottlenecks or the presence of population structure [ 63 , 64 ].

The period effect does not show a clear trend, there are fluctuations in time, but it is not possible to identify a dramatic effect of any event in a year that determine a significant increase or decrease in relative risk of maternal death in function of the period.

In the same line, an intervention over 25 patients (mean age of 86 years) found, that a dietary supplement based on an oily emulsion of DHA-phospholipids containing tryptophan and melatonin showed a significant treatment effect for the MMSE, a positive trend for the semantic verbal fluency, and the olfactory sensitivity assessment, and as regards the nutrition evaluation, the supplemented group showed an improvement in the MNA in comparison with the control group [ 20 ].

However, if we excluded the loops connecting membrane-spanning α-helices, it was possible to observe a potential 3-TMS structural repeat with borderline significance, RMSD = 3.57 Å over a 60 residue alignment where TMSs 3–5 align with TMSs 6–8 (See Methods and S1 Fig ).
