An association was observed with male gender (OR = 2.37; 95%CI 1.07–5.25; p = 0.03), older age which is borderline non-significant for the group 35–44 years (OR = 2.41; 95%CI 0.99–5.88; p = 0.05) and significant for the group 45–60 years (OR = 3.17; 95%CI 1.18–8.50; p = 0.02) and smoking (OR = 3.35; 95%CI 1.17–9.60; p = 0.02).
As shown in Table 2 , the association between years of CA in high school and adult-onset asthma in middle age was marginally significant at P = 0.050 level.
Eleven out of the 16 SNPs in this genomic area are nominally significant (10 −6 <p<.05) providing additional support for the involvement of EFNA5 in AD.
As most results were nominally significant (P < 0.05) but did not meet the stringent corrected threshold (P < 0.005), they are cautiously interpreted as indicating potential trends in the discussion of our findings.
This positivity advantage depended on 5-HTTLPR, Gender, and Intensity, resulting in a significant three-way interaction between 5-HTTLPR, Facial expression, and Intensity [ F (1, 94) = 4.04, p = 0.047, η p 2 = 0.04], and more importantly, in a highly significant four-way interaction between 5-HTTLPR, Gender, Facial expression, and Intensity [ F (1, 94) = 8.09, p = 0.05, η p 2 = 0.8].
However, the analysis identified let-7p-5p, miR-98-5p and miR-183-5p with a highly significant differentiation in their expression profile ( p <0.05, following the application of the Benjamini-Hochberg multiple testing adjustment method) between the control group (patients with schizophrenia but without tumour formation) and both study groups (patients with/without schizophrenia, but with tumour formation).
As many as three in four respondents (75%) agreed with the statement ‘My medical information and DNA belong to me, and I have allowed the researcher to use them for this study.’ There was a significant trend with age; younger people were more likely to believe they retained ownership of their DNA and medical information (p<0.05).
For bean residuals, there was only a borderline significant aggregate difference (χ 2 = 11.0, df = 5, and p = 0.05), and there were only three accompanying significant pairwise differences.
where P < 0.05 indicates statistical significance [...] was found to be slightly smaller than that of basal cells (−181 ± 21 pA, n = 7, P27–P30) but the difference was not quite significant (P = 0.05)” (PMID 18174213) “... resting activity of A5 neurons was marginally but not significantly higher in toxin-treated rats (0.9 ± 0.2vs. 1.8 ± 0.5 Hz, P = 0.068)” (PMID 22526887) “... significantly smaller than with fura-6F alone (P = 0.009), and slightly smaller than with fura-6F and EGTA (
However, baseline right hemisphere BA25 metabolism showed a marginally significant correlation with change from baseline MADRS, whereby higher baseline metabolism predicted better response to O/F therapy ( r = 0.68, P = .05).
The difference in mean cell diameter between Transpose RT / no Matrase isolated ADRCs (10.2μm ± 0.1μm) and Transpose RT / Matrase isolated ADRCs (10.6μm ± 0.1μm) was only approximately 4% and did not reach statistical significance (p = 0.05; n = 12 matched pairs of samples) ( Fig 3D ).
The statistical interaction between dose and density was marginally significant for day of death ( H = 7.813, df = 3, p = 0.05; Figure 1B ) with tadpoles exposed to Dose 3 dying significantly earlier in low density tanks but not when held in high density conditions ( Figure 1B , Table S1 ). 3.
Yet, there was a possible trend towards statistical significance (r = 0.586 p = 0.05) regarding the correlation between percent area stenosis and injury score.
However, it had marginally significant (at p < .05) effects on the random slope of political participation for perceived social support and loneliness, and these effects went in substantively opposite directions.
Moreover, the larger distance of the household living place from the university area echoes decreases urban expansion by 0.046, which is statistically highly significant (p≤0.05).
Patients aged 60–80 and over 80 years exhibited significantly higher incidence rates compared to those under 60 years (all P < 0.05) A total of 416 strains were identified, with Gram-negative bacteria accounting for 86.5%, primarily represented by Klebsiella pneumoniae (31.0%), while pseudomonas aeruginosa (21.4%) and stenotrophomonas maltophilia (5.3%) demonstrated an increasing trend in the period of 2022–2023 (both P < 0.05).
Additionally, a few more channels that showed a trend-level difference (uncorrected p<0.05 but not remaining significant after FDR correction) were located approximately in the bilateral frontopolar ([FP]), dorsolateral ([DL]) and ventrolateral ([VL]) regions (uncorrected p<0.01; [FP] ch 36 (d = 0.83; 95%IC 0.19, 1.43), ch47 (d = 0.93; 95%IC 0.26,1.56
P values P values ≤ 0.001 were considered highly significant (***); P value ≤ 0.01 were considered moderately significant (**), and p values ≤ 0.05 were considered significant (*).
This effect fell just short of statistical significance when investigated on between-state transitions ( P = 0.05 and P = 0.08 at 20°C and 30°C, respectively, Figure 3 , I).
Discussion In a population with chronic mental illness, various SNPs in 10 candidate genes ( PPP1R1B , BDNF , DRD3 , DRD2 , HTR2A , HTR2C , COMT , MnSOD , CYP1A2 , and RGS2 ) reached nominally significant (p≤0.05) associations with drug-induced movement disorder.
In addition, we observed a marginally non-significant main effect of gender , F (1,115) = 3.84, MSE = 9.23, p = .05, ηp 2 = .032, with boys keeping a higher number of stickers ( M = 9.01, SE = 0.36) than girls ( M = 8.00, SE = 0.39; Fig 1B ).
