P value < 0.001 is considered extremely significant (***); P value from 0.001 to 0.01 very significant (**); P value from 0.01 to 0.05 significant (*); P value > 0.05 not significant (ns).

Interestingly, while IL-10 levels were substantially suppressed from the end of treatment onwards, the decrease in TNF-alpha started later; it was nearly significant at the end of treatment (2.82 pg/mL, p = 0.05) and this was confirmed, although with a smaller decrease, at each consecutive time point (2.19 pg/mL and 2.09 pg/mL at SVR4 and 12, respectively).
The GWAS result of the SNPs that are nominally significant (P<0.05) for biceps, including: SNP names, chromosome, position, p-value and FDR.
However, the effects reported in Bäumler’s study [ 3 ] were small and nominally significant (two-tailed p < .05) only for bulkiness.

When further stratified based on PM and HIV status for the HWE test, the trend remains similar: there was no deviation for KM genotype frequency distribution in the HIV-1 negative women regardless of PM status or in the HIV-1 positive women without PM except a borderline significance of deviation in HIV-1 positive women with PM showing negative F(is) ( P = 0.05, F(is) = −0.18).
In addition, tumor size was positively correlated with Bcl-2 expression in luminal cells (r = 0.4; P<0.0001) and marginal significance was found for a negative correlation with Bax IRS scale in luminal cells (r = -0.2; P = 0.05).
Hyperglycemia was associated with an increase in the following parameters: Vmax (p<0.001), S'max (p<0.001), strain rate, (p = 0.02) and strain (near-significant: p = 0.05).
IFNγ and IL-6 levels in culture/GeneXpert positive patients decreased between days 0 and 7 (overall both p<0.0001) and changes were weakly significant in culture/GeneXpert negative patients (p = 0.05 and 0.03, respectively).
In addition, the LAARP approach had less postoperative complications compared with PSARP, with a marginally significant difference (RR 0.66, 95%CI 0.44–0.99; P = 0.05).
In the placebo group, only the gene hsa-miR-9985 was detected to be downregulated upon long-term treatment, with the serum groups showing downregulation of the same gene at a nominally significant level (P ≤ 0.05, FDR > 0.05) after long-term treatment.
When determining the ratio of HRE-dependent firefly luciferase activity over the activity of the constitutively expressed Renilla luciferase, the inhibitory effects of mitomycin C, YC-1 and camptothecin were still highly significant ( Fig. 1c , lower panel, p <0.05).
A total of 22 SNPs showed nominally significant association ( p <0.05) with at least one lipid trait in at least one ethnic group, although not always with the same lipid traits reported as genome-wide significant in the original GWAS.
When comparing AT and UC groups at 9-month follow-up, the mean difference was approaching significance, -1.05m/sec (95%CI -2.11 to 0.017, p = 0.05).
To reduce the multiple testing burden, candidate TFs were tested for interaction with a given gene only if their marginal association with the target probe set was nominally significant ( p <0.05).
Evaluation of MVD Immunostaining with anti-CD34 showed a markedly significant reduction of MVD in the WT hyperoxic group with a mean of 62±8.4, in comparison to TG hyperoxic group with mean of 85±12 (P<0.05) ( Fig. 2 ).
In both genotypes, these epoxides had a decreasing trend in response to ischemia that was not statistically significant ( P > 0.05; Fig 7A ).
Comparison of the cluster dendrograms in terms of the cophenetic correlation matrices with the Mantel test yielded a highly significant correlation ( r = .91, p < .05; ρ = .79, p < .05).

All relevant variables retrieved from univariate analysis together with duration of infertility -that showed borderline significance (p = 0.05) on univariate analysis -were subsequently included in the multivariate analysis of factors related to the top quality blastocyst formation rate.
We had 80% power to detect nominally significant associations (p = 0.05) with SNPs that account for at least 0.8% of a trait's variance (full sample) or at least 1.0% of variance (individuals with MRIs).
The difference in TPO protein expression between normal tissue and cancer samples was borderline significant ( P -value = 0.05).
A decreasing trend was detected for the Na + /K + -ATPase activity and its mRNA expression level in the posterior gills with salinity ( P < 0.05).
The hemolymph glucose and uric acid showed a decreasing trend as salinity while an increasing trend was found for the hemolymph triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( P < 0.05).
The estimated yearly decrease in trachoma in the control communities was -·04%, compared with -0·9% in the intervention communities, and this difference in the rate of change between control and intervention communities was borderline significant (p = 0·05).
