None of these symptoms were significant predictors of long COVID in the adjusted model ( Table 3 ) (sleep disturbance was the only symptom category that approached significance ( p = 0.02)), however ME/CFS, joint pain, and several others demonstrated high variance inflation factors (S1 Table D.4 in S1 File ) indicating possible underestimation of their effects (S1 Appendix D in S1 File ).
Previously, the UGT1A7*3 allele exhibited modestly significant association with colorectal cancer (OR = 2.39; P = 0.02) [ 57 ], lung cancer [ 62 ], endometrial cancer [ 63 ] and pancreatic cancer (OR = 1.98; P = 0.003) [ 64 ] with a particularly strong association in smokers with pancreatic carcinoma who were younger than 55 years (OR = 4.7; P = 0.0009), suggesting the magnitude of the observed associations may be modified by environmental interactions.
A total of 603 TT and 5 TC carriers were identified in the patient group, resulting in an association with marginal significance (P = 0.02), which does not survive the multiple test corrections.
Here, we found a significant increase for the POST group compared to the RELAX group (t(52) = 4.86; d = 1.3, p<.01) and a marginally significant change for the SIM group compared to the RELAX group (t(52) = 2.43; d = 0.67, p = .02).
While TDR remained stable throughout the study period, clinically relevant resistance to first line drugs showed a significant trend to a decline (p = 0.02).
At baseline (t = 0), the ratio differed between diets (p = 0.02); it was higher with the LF diet than with the LGI diet (p = 0.015), and higher with the LF than with VLC diet, with borderline significance (p = 0.02).
The gene-based analysis confirmed the significance of the THRB gene ( P = 2.29×10 −5 ) and showed a borderline significance for the PVT1 gene ( P = 0.02) ( Table 3 ).
The effect of NO 3 and the interaction between NO 3 and OE were insignificant, but the difference in mean survival between heated tanks with and without OE was marginally significant (t 15 = –2.63, P = 0.020).
Planned comparisons revealed highly significant differences between the actual and predicted values (for 2 objects: t(25) = 2.6, p = .02, g = 0.46; for 3 objects: t(25) = 2.1, p = .05, g = 0.55; for 4 objects: t(25) = 6.9, p<.0001, g = 1.05; for 5 objects: t(25) = 7.4, p<.0001, g = 1.45).
The 2 group×3 stem type ANOVAs on response time to speech stimuli yielded marginally significant main effects of stem-type (F1(2,68) = 4.64, p<.02, F2(2, 29) = 2.20, p<.13).
Pimecrolimus treatment increased the externalization of both CD203c and CD193 on the surface of cells isolated from hymenopteran venom allergics (but not healthy controls) following stimulation with high doses of venom (1.0 μg*ml -1 ), leading to a 4.3–6.6% increase in the frequency of SSC low CD203c + CD193 + , SSC low CD203c + and SSC low CD193 + cells (borderline significance—paired t -test p = 0.02, = 0.08 and = 0.02, respectively).
When different types of dairy consumption were investigated separately for CVD, CHD, fracture, or all-cause mortality events, a significant trend of lower risk of fracture with increasing total fermented dairy consumption (adjusted model P = 0.02) was observed, with HR of 0.67 (95% CI: 0.50–0.90) for the highest (total fermented dairy>133 g/week) vs lowest (0≤total fermented dairy≤26, g/week) quartiles of total fermented dairy consumption ( Table 3 ).
Further, we observed a borderline significant association between ghrelin levels and post-vaccination antibody levels in overweight children (regression coefficient 0.009, p = 0.02) ( Table 3 ).
The overall pooled effect size of the static balance function in the experimental group did not significantly differ from that in the control group [Hedges’ g: 1.32 (95% CI: -0.41, 3.06) at p = 0.13], with a highly significant difference in heterogeneity ( I 2 = 81% at p = 0.02).
In contrast, the Semantic-Other condition revealed a marginally significant difference from baseline performance for tapping [ t (39) = 2.50, p = .02, d = .79] and a significant difference from baseline performance for word production [ t (39) = 3.83, p <.0001, d = 1.23], indicating a reduction in both finger tapping and word production performance in this condition.
From the quantitative data of lids, seven out of nine aWCDs were lower than the mean and median values of the aBCDs and aSLDs ( S1B Fig ), and the difference between aWCDs and aBCDs was marginally significant ( P -value = 0.02; S1C Fig .
When dividing IgM anti-PC levels into quartiles, there was a significant trend across the quartiles for the presence of multi-vessel disease with decreased levels of IgM anti-PC (p = 0.02), identifying a threshold for IgM anti-PC at the 25 percentiles, 24.6 U/ml, thus IgM anti-PC were divided into high and low levels at the 25 percentiles.
Moreover, there was a significant trend of birds molting during the non-normal months between 2000 and 2006 ( Fig. 2 , trend, p = 0.02), whereas no trend existed before 2000.
However, there was some evidence of a decreasing trend in annual incidence among men aged 20–24 years from 2011 to 2015 (RR for linear trend from one year to the next = 0.86, 95%CI = 0.75–0.97, p = 0.02; S1 Table ).
This indicates a decreasing trend of vancomycin resistance among E . faecium from broiler flocks in the first years of surveillance (χ 2 = 5.8 p = 0.02).
