The level of significance was set at p <0.05, and for highly significant at p <0.01.
Excerpts
Genes Related to Epigenetic Regulatory Mechanisms Regardless of treatment, a two-way ANOVA showed that the differences between hepatic and intestinal levels of expression of five target genes related to epigenetic regulatory mechanisms were statistically significant ( P <0.05) or highly significant ( P <0.01; P <0.001) ( Table 3 and S3 Table ), being in general higher in the intestine.
Fixation indices that indicate genetic differentiation, including F CT (between groups), F SC (among populations within groups) and F ST (within populations) were all highly significant ( P <0.01) for the three mtDNA genes ( Table 2 ).
Highly significant differences between NVT rate of control recombinant viruses HyprIC and VsIC were observed (p < 0.01), which corresponded extremely closely with the NVT rates determined for the wild type Hypr and Vs viruses ( Fig 1 ).

General costs Both humans and monkeys showed highly significant general costs in terms of ER, as previously defined (humans: 2.7%, F(1, 7) = 18.7, P<0.01; M1: 4.7%, F(1, 81) = 46,7, P<0.0001; M2: 2.9%, F(1, 39) = 46.7, P<0.0001; Figure 6 ).
Highly significant (p<0.01) differences were confirmed in the frequency of the isolation of Y . enterocolitica isolates from wild boar and red deer versus roe deer and fallow deer.
A clear trend was observed towards lower PR-104A EC 50 values for cells with higher AKR1C3 activity ( Fig 4C , R 2 = 0.7063; p < 0.01).
Also, untreated diabetic rats showed markedly significant (p<0.01) glucose intolerance compared to the vehicle-treated controls but neither naringin nor ramipril treatment significantly alleviated glucose intolerance in diabetic rats compared to diabetic untreated rats ( Fig 1C ).
Indeed, other than for genotype 3, this gain over particles bearing the E1E2 heterodimer was highly significant, for genotypes 2a and 4 ( p < 0.01), and significant, for genotypes 1a and 1b ( p < 0.05).
The migration differences between 12h and 24h for these two groups are significant (P<0.05) and between 48h and 72h are extremely significant (P<0.01).
If the correlation coefficient was highly significant (P<0.01), indicating there was reasonable correspondence between traits, data were averaged over sites or years environments.
The results of the analysis of variance indicated that the main effects of NPS fertilizer rates and chicken manure had a highly significant (p < 0.01) effect on plant height of garlic.
Single Gouldian finches had a higher frequency of head movements than most other group sizes with significant differences to group sizes of two and 5–7 birds and approaching significance for group sizes of 3–4 birds (bootstrapping: 1 vs 2 birds: p = 0.010, 1 vs 3–4 birds: p = 0.062, 1 vs 5–7 birds: p = 0.019, 1 vs > 7 birds: p = 0.169; Fig 3 ).
We only found a highly significant correlation (for both male and female) at day 10 between milk leptin levels and pup ́s mean weight (p<0.01) ( Fig 5 ) and a less significant correlation (p<0.05) between adiponectin levels and female-pup ́s mean weight, also at day 10 (data not shown).
The livelihood importance score ( Li ) for fishing showed a negative trend for island households with increasing distance from Auki ( r 2 = 0.92, p < 0.01).
We found a moderately significant negative association between pain measured by NRS immediately after walking and mGDI ( r = -0.45; p<0.01), Table 3 .
The final mixed linear multivariable regression model showed a highly significant interaction ( P <0.01) between day and transport medium parameters.
Importantly, the ranking provided by the sensitivity analysis was trustworthy, since the linear regression explained most of the model output variability (R 2 = 0.91), and it was highly significant (F-statistic = 224, p<0.01).
NP: Nipponbare; OE-1 ~ 9 represent independent ApMEKK18 transgenic rice lines; one-way ANOVA (Student’s t -test), *differences were significant ( P < 0.05), **differences were highly significant ( P < 0.01).
Differences were considered significant at P≤0.05 and highly significant at P≤0.01.
lnCatalase was associated with worse Reasoning (b = -.081, p < .001), but the associated p value from the multivariate test was only marginally significant at .051. lnUreA was associated with worse Reasoning (b = -.059, p < .01); the p value from the associated multivariate test was .049.
