Concurrent Validity SNAQ total score showed a decreasing trend with increasing social frailty (15.96 vs. 15.56 vs. 15.18, p = 0.045), physical frailty (15.94 vs. 15.61 vs. 14.50, p > 0.05) and depressive symptoms (15.84 vs. 15.07, p > 0.05) ( Table 5 ).
Excerpts
The mixed model analysis showed that the effect of treatment on HRSD scores may have varied over time, according to the interaction between treatment and time, which may have been marginally significant (F = 2.405, df = 5, 74.824, p = 0.045).
Although in that study body fat was not assessed, sclerostin did show a significant relationship with histomorphometrically assessed liver fat, although not with Knodell index or liver function, besides a direct, borderline significant relationship with serum bilirubin ( p = 0.046) [ 45 ].
Among married individuals, CDAI scores in the third quartile were associated with a borderline significant risk reduction (OR = 0.64, 95% CI: 0.41–1.00, p = 0.046).
In men, only ChaPF exhibited a positive trend across Hcy tertiles ( p = 0.046) ( Table 3 ).
In addition, a positive correlation between symptom severity and physical activity levels was nominally significant (ρ = 0.32, p = 0.046, q = 0.514) ( Figure 2 A, Supplemental Table S3 ).
Ravussin 2015 [ 59 ] reported an increase after 6 months of bone resorption markers, such as the C-terminal telopeptide of type 1 collagen (0.098 ± 0.12 μg/L; p < 0.001) [ 69 ] and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase isoform (0.4 ± 0.1 U/L; p = 0.004) with a barely significant reduction, at 24 months, of bone formation predictors (e.g., bone-specific alkaline phosphatase: −1.5 ± 0.4 U/L; p = 0.047).
After excluding supplement users, a borderline significant inverse association was observed between the dietary pattern 2 and plasma α-tocopherol levels (β, SE = −0.032, 0.016; p = 0.047).
A marginally significant relationship was found (χ 2 (1, N = 691) = 3.938, p = 0.047), though this relationship became non-significant when applying the continuity correction ( p = 0.067).
14.5% among non-users), this association was only borderline significant ( p = 0.047 before correction, p = 0.067 after), highlighting the need for further research with larger samples.
As shown in Table 2 , 14-MEDAS scores were associated with most of the SWB items in a statistically significant way, while the association with BMI was borderline significant ( p = 0.047).
a trend toward significancep = 0.047
[ 74 ] and the present study demonstrated a trend toward significance ( p = 0.047).
Shapiro–Wilk tests indicated approximately normal within-subject difference scores for all outcomes across conditions (all p ≥ 0.17), except for the fatigue index, which was borderline significant ( W = 0.895, p = 0.048); this was not apparent in the plots.
An inverse correlation was found with BMI (rs = −0.245, p < 0.001), while the association with age was weak and marginally significant (rs = −0.098, p = 0.048).
We observed a significant trend ( p = 0.048) for higher levels of bone formation marker (P1NP) and a trend for IGF-1 ( p = 0.08) towards lower 25(OH)D concentrations.
In Model 2, dietary zinc density showed a nominally significant positive association with cfPWV (B = 0.271; 95% CI: 0.0018 to 0.540; p = 0.048).
A weakly significant ( p = 0.048) negative relation between tea consumption and direct HDL cholesterol was observed. 4.
Due to the small sample size in the subgroups, these differences did not reach statistical significance, except for NGAL concentrations ( p = 0.048).
Repeated measures ANCOVA with Group and Sex (between-subjects), and Test and Time (within-subjects) as factors revealed a marginally significant main effect of Time, F(4, 148) = 2.47, p = 0.048, η p 2 = 0.062, and a significant interaction between Time and Group, F(8,148) = 2.16, p = 0.034, η p 2 = 0.104.
approached significancep = 0.048
The difference between the amount of physical activity in summer and winter approached significance (β = 0.28; p = 0.048).
Glucose The change in serum glucose concentration in the four exercises relative to sedentary trials was marginally significant (F (df 4,11) = 3.38, p = 0.049, Figure 7 ).
Exercise did not affect HDL-cholesterol concentration ( p = 0.913), but calorie restriction caused a marginally significant decrease ( p = 0.049); however, none of the pairwise contrasts against the control trial reached significance ( Table 2 ).
