Despite the diversity of conditions examined, we observed highly significant degrees of correlation between the levels of β-glucan exposure and the amounts of TNF-α, RANTES, IL-10, and MIP-1α generated by the PBMCs (Fig. 3 ).
Excerpts
extremely significantqualified
Single, double and triple asterisks represent P ≤ 0.05, 0.01, and 0.001, respectively, wherein * P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant and ** P < 0.01 was extremely significant.
Source-projected α-power significantly increased after tACS (permutation cluster t test, p cluster < 0.001), and showed a trend towards increased α-power after sham stimulation ( p cluster = 0.08).
a clear trendgold
There the maximum cell growth was observed for SC100 and SC50, while within the SCx series a clear trend is evident that growth decreases with increasing CNT content and thus increasing adhesion strength.
Analyzes at seasonal time scales revealed that Niño 3.4 anomalies had significant negative associations with total rainfall in December, January, February (DJF) (0 month lag, lag months 1–4 were marginally non-significant) and average DJF Chobe River height (0–8 months lags), and a significant positive association with average DJF minimum temperatures (0–9 months lags) (Fig. 2 ).
a clear trendgold
A clear trend of negative correlation was also observed in NC-fed mice (Fig. 8a ).
The specific capacity of the TQBQ-COF electrode shows an increasing trend for the initial 10 cycles at the large currents owing to the slow process to open the ion transport channel for the TQBQ-COF electrode, and the capacity retention is calculated based on the 10th cycle.
a positive trendgold
Although the first experiments 33 were showing a positive trend in the near infrared, at longer wavelengths the THz efficiency was dropping again.
Further, 85 out of the 88 variants ( P < 1 × 10 −16 ) had effect size in the same direction in the two cohorts and 44 were at least nominally significant in Iceland showing good replication of effects (Supplementary Data 1 ).
Despite marginally significant interactions between ESJ and video type on levator activation and self-reported affect in Study 3, these trends were not replicated in Studies 4 or 5.
coli , active intrinsic termination sites confirmed by Rend-seq data 39 were (in ~20% of cases) accompanied by highly significant levels (>12 standard deviations above the mean; see the “Methods” section) of a nearby (within 500 bp) RNA 5′ end mapping to the opposite strand, indicative of antisense initiation (Fig. 5b–d ).
The Alzheimer’s disease PRS as originally reported lacked the highly significant APOE locus; accordingly this locus was manually added to the PRS using the tag SNP rs10414043, and an estimated β = 1.34 (ref. 62 ). rs10414043 was used in preference to the more conventional rs429358 as the latter was not robustly genotyped on all platforms.
a clear trendgold
The population fractions of the other states fluctuate over time but do not show a clear trend.
Our results also show a decreasing trend in rice paddy area in monsoon Asia since 2007, which suggests that the change in rice paddy area could not be one of the major drivers for the renewed XCH 4 growth, thus other sources and sinks should be further investigated.
The interannual variations in XCH 4 in the rice paddy-dominated areas of monsoon Asia, China, and India were relatively stable during 2003–2006, but changed into an increasing trend beginning in 2007 (Fig. 5 ), which agreed well with the trends of global XCH 4 1 .
Temporal peak/gene analyses After selecting genomic features with a significant trend, we used their estimated parameters to fit the original data to reduce noise and facilitate the discovery of common trend patterns across multiple features.
We also remind that our results show (pages 3–5) that the impact of behavioural interventions to promote the purchase of energy-efficient appliances (a one-time action) is very small and only marginally significant ( d = −0.036, 95% CI: −0.129 to 0.058).
The global PIF quartet-regulated genes showed a highly significant overlap with either of the epidermal PIF4- or vascular PIF4-regulated genes (Supplementary Data 1 ).
The corresponding I d output characteristics also shows an increasing trend with the decreasing of scan speed, and reaches a saturated value of 272 μA when the scan speed is less than 4 μm s −1 (Supplementary Fig. 5d–e ).
Immunoblots of ProSPC and vWF lung protein levels showed an increasing trend in the secretome treated groups compared to the PBS group (Fig. 2e, f ).
LSC-secretome treated groups showed a decreasing trend in αSMA when compared to PBS treated controls.
P < 0.05, p < 0.01, and p < 0.001 are defined as significant, moderately significant, and highly significant, respectively.
Material reductions in DAPP, not just the slowing of an increasing trend, is the great challenge that remains to be addressed in China.
This result is consistent with the latest update of the authoritative GBD 2017 6 , 9 , but contrasts with some previous studies which indicated that DAPP showed a decreasing trend after 2013 15 , 21 , 22 (Supplementary Fig. 1 ).
In contrast, an increasing trend is obtained for Ir-III coated surface at the same threshold when H c increases, due to the oxygen quenching effect at the open air.
