In the LFY section, although overall variability is limited, event samples define a clear trend along an oblique line between terrestrial source rocks (0.11 ± 0.10 ‰), marine carbonate (0.06 ± 0.08 ‰), and volcanic Δ 199 Hg (0.03 ± 0.05 ‰) values, indicating a volcanic signature.
Additionally, we found highly significant positive correlations between stereologically estimated SN TH-positive cell counts and both striatal TH + OD (Supplementary Fig. 6d ) and SN Nissl-stained cell count (confirming TH-positive cells as neurons; Supplementary Fig. 6e ) in both week4 and week8 groups.
Similarly, survival analysis indicated that all three treatment regimens significantly prolonged survival compared with controls, with a numerical trend toward greater survival benefits in the HAIC plus anti-PD-L1 group relative to both systemic treatment groups (Supplementary Fig. 18K ).
Bioinformatic analysis of the upregulated genes in tumouricidal macrophages showed highly significant overlaps with genes or proteins known to be induced in macrophages by IFN-γ ( Supplementary Data S3 ).
In a manner similar to that proposed in electrophysiological research 37 , the priming activity of T 3 may trigger lasting changes in synapses to express plasticity in chicks' imprinting, and there may be significant modulation in the structure of dendritic spines as a result of priming.
In contrast, when territories were recruited to the event, every cell locally showed the same rhythmic discharges, reflected in a highly significant increase in coherence between cells ( Fig. 2e ).
When this scoring system was used to segregate patient samples into 3 groups of low (nuclear score <100; nuclear intensity <2); medium (nuclear score 100–300; nuclear intensity 2–5) and high (nuclear score >300; nuclear intensity >5) CtBP score, there was a clear trend showing an inverse relationship between CtBP staining and patient median survival by Kaplan Meier analysis ( Fig. 6b ).
Note that although there was an apparent trend for ethanol to increase the frequency of sIPSCs in the Gabrb1 +/ L285R MSNs, it was not significant in this sample.
Moreover, previous work using the pairwise haplotype sharing test has shown that the region around CO has an extended haplotype 4 , although compared with genome-wide data the magnitude of pairwise haplotype sharing around CO is only marginally significant at the 95th percentile level ( Supplementary Fig. 1 in ref. 4 ).
fragilis (false discovery rate (FDR)<5%), and showed a trend (FDR<20%) towards positive association with Dialister spp. and a negative association with the Prevotella group ( Supplementary Table 4 ).
Although these differences did not quite reach statistical significance due to the small numbers, they suggest that docetaxel resistance is twice as likely in TMPRSS2 ERG-positive CRPC than in TMPRSS2 ERG-negative prostate cancers.
To identify the PAR, we focused on SNPs heterozygous in both males and females in a pool of unmapped markers that were not linked to any of the 33 autosomal linkage groups 33 . Seven of these previously unlinked markers from three small scaffolds (N00298, three markers in 436.0 kb; N00378, three markers in 182.2 kb; N02597, one marker in 2.3 kb) showed highly significant two-point linkage in both male and female meioses to several markers located close to one end of the Z chromosome linkage map and to each other ( Supplementary Table 1 ; Supplementary Fig. 1 ).
This highly significant effect was consistently demonstrated across all the cohorts studied and was independent of potentially confounding factors including gender, age at time of biopsy, BMI, T2DM and PNPLA3 rs738409 genotype.
Interestingly, STAT3 and IL-8 expression tended to inversely correlate in KRAS mutant samples, whereas KRAS wild-type samples showed a trend towards a positive correlation between STAT3 and IL-8 expression ( Supplementary Fig. 4c ).
MeQTL results ( Supplementary Table 8 ) are presented for variants with nominally significant associations in both the WGS and GWAS samples less than a meta-analysis P -value of 1 × 10 −04 .
