The interaction between instruction and memory showed a trend (F(1,15) = 3.48, p = 0.082), pointing towards slightly more pronounced reaction time differences for TBR than TBF items.

( P <0.022 in all cases), while marginally non-significant higher expression in cavefish was observed at the earliest sampled time point (10 h.p.f., P =0.083).
Age-stratified PERMANOVA within the same timepoint comparisons confirmed this pattern: in 1–2-year-olds, Ill and Not-Ill children showed a trend toward divergence at D15 ( F (1, 178) = 2.32, p = 0.084, R 2 = 0.013, 95% CI [0.008, 0.030]) and significant separation at D85 ( F (1, 194) = 2.64, p = 0.049, R 2 = 0.013, 95% CI [0.008, 0.031]), whereas no significant separation was observed in the 7–12-month or >2-year groups at any timepoint (Fig. 2 ; Supplementary Table 9 ).
Post-hoc comparisons using the Bonferroni method revealed that 8-Hz stimulation significantly decreased freezing in ChR2-expressing rats ( p = 0.049), whereas the increase displayed by mCherry rats just missed significance ( p = 0.084).
In the matched cohort, similar to the total cohort, the interaction term for age (per 10-year increment) × SNA showed a trend toward statistical significance but did not reach it (HR 0.81, 95% CI [0.63–1.04], p = 0.084).
Accordingly, all results are robust, except that different perceptions of how “smart” the authors of the AI-generated (versus human-generated) messages were seen to be became non-significant ( p = 0.504) and “unique” became marginally significant ( p = 0.084) and therefore these results are not visualized in Fig. 2 .
Meningiomas with 1p loss designated at the 50% and 75% thresholds were associated with significantly shorter median time to recurrence compared to those designated with WHO grade 2 meningiomas (both p < 0.05) while other 1p loss thresholds approached significance (5%: p = 0.085, 25%; p = 0.079, 95%; p = 0.056).
3f ), with a nonsignificant trend for DOPAC ( p = 0.085, Fig. 3d ).
5D ) and a negative trending towards significance cluster in the SameSt group (370–710 ms; p = 0.085) (Fig. 5C ).
4b ), but the discrimination between familiar and unknown places, considering the 24 place-responsive neurons, was only marginally significant (54%, p = 0.085; permutation test; Fig. 4c ).
Using this difference score as our dependent measure and group as fixed factor, we found a marginally significant main effect of group, F (2, 138) = 2.51, P = 0.085, ηp2 = 0.035 (this is analogous to an interaction effect using repeated measures ANOVA with a group factor and an age factor: the statistics are identical).
The CD8 + :FOXP3 + T cell ratio in ICI-non-resistant AYA melanomas was similar to the adult groups, while the resistant AYA group showed a trend of lower CD8 + :FOXP3 + cell ratio compared to adult non-resistant melanomas ( P = 0.085) (Supplementary Fig. 2d ).
To further validate this association, we assessed rs75326924 in an independent GWAS of a Korean cohort [19], observing a similar effect direction (BETA = −0.54) with a P -value approaching significance ( P = 0.086).
Marginally significant decreases over the studied period were found in Western Asia (−2.5%, p = 0.086) and North America (−7.2%, p = 0.093).
Plasmid DNA transfection of the same constructs showed a trend towards a low level of toxicity ( p = 0.086), and treatment with Triton X-100 resulted in complete loss of viability.
Adjuvant chemotherapy was significantly associated with decreased DMFS in the high-radiomic signature group ( p = 0.01), did not have a significant association in the low-radiomic signature group, and had only a marginally significant association among all patients ( p = 0.087) (Fig. 4a ).
In the PFC-MSC cluster, genes identified by Sherlock also showed a trend of significant co-expression ( P = 8.8 × 10 −2 ) with GWAS-significant genes (Supplementary Fig. 5a ).
Pre-treatment heterogeneity was also statistically significantly associated with overall survival in the Cox PH analysis (HRR 1.50 (95% CI 1.01–2.23), p = 0.046), though the Kaplan Meier log-rank test was only borderline significant ( p = 0.088, Fig. 4a ).
The gated channel activity term showed association with lung cancer risk with borderline significance (Fisher’s exact test, P = 0.088) (Supplementary Table 4 ).
We also observed an increasing trend of PT from Luminal A to Luminal B and then to Her2 and Basal ( p = 0.089, Mann–Kendall Trend Test - MKT), consistent with the prior knowledge that non-Luminal subtypes are more aggressive with worse clinical outcome than Luminal subtypes (Supplementary Fig. 10d ).
In line with the enforced adipose glucose disposal in the fasted state, mice supplemented with GE showed a trend towards increased GLUT1 protein levels in the iBAT ( p = 0.089) but not iWAT (Fig. 6f, g ).
For sarcomas, 3/6 Δ122/Δ122 IL-6+/+ mice showed metastases to the gut, liver, spleen, pancreas or lymph node; 1/3 of Δ122/Δ122 IL-6+/− mice had a single metastasis to the heart; and 0/4 Δ122/Δ122 IL-6−/− mice had metastases, although this did not quite reach statistical significance ( p = 0.09, χ 2 -test; Table 2 ) due to low numbers of tumours.
However, the effect over lateral motor areas remained marginally significant even when posterior 8–14 Hz activity was included as a co-variate ( β =−0.068±0.038, t 20 =−1.8, P =0.09), suggesting that this motor effect was at least partially distinct from the more posterior effect.
Fbxo24 KO mice showed a trend toward decreased bacterial loads compared to WT mice (Fig. 2b P = 0.09).
For female lung AD, this effect was most pronounced in the discovery dataset (69.37 ± 10.71 vs 62.78 ± 11.06, P = 0.0007) and showed borderline significance in the replication dataset (68.74 ± 10.49 vs 63.69 ± 10.31, P = 0.09, Supplementary Table 13 and Fig. 4a ).
