Furthermore, a statistical trend in the interaction effect was also found F(2, 26) = 3.15, p = 0.06 in which post-hoc comparisons revealed that only in the opsin condition animals at phase 20 cm kept significantly increased defensive distances compared to phase 10 cm as well as to phase none ( p < 0.05 and p < 0.001) respectably, while no differences were found within the control group.
Total developmental time from egg to adult emergence ranged between 23 and 31 days and was shorter on smaller hosts (ANCOVA: F 1,109 =8.11, P <0.005, r 2 =0.05, n =112) and shorter in broods developing from larger numbers of eggs (ANCOVA: F 1,109 =32.48, P <0.001, r 2 =0.22, n =112); the interaction between these main effects was marginally nonsignificant (ANCOVA: F 1,108 =3.62, P =0.060, n =112).

The [S]-rHDL group showed a trend towards a decrease of 17% compared to the oral statin group (Mann-Whitney U test p=0.06, Fig. 4c ).
The results for females were marginally significant for all villages ( N =126, r =−0.14, Student’s t -test P =0.06) and inland villages ( N =29, r =−0.27, Student’s t -test P =0.08), but not for coastal villages ( N =97, r =−0.1, Student’s t -test P =0.14).
During the reward delivery event, the cOFC did not exhibit a significant trend (t(4) = − 0.29, p = 0.78), but the pACC exhibited a marginally significant effect (t(4) = − 2.55, p = 0.06).
However, during the GFP period, a clear gradient emerged: VPD sensitivity did not significantly change in good years ( p > 0.10) but showed a statistically significant improvement in bad years ( p = 0.01), and a marginally significant increase in normal years ( p = 0.06) (Supplementary Fig. 18 ).

In the Baby Animals task, generalization accuracy was significantly associated with age, β = 0.01, SE = 0.001, t (180.6) = 8.90, p < 0.001, 95% CI [0.008, 0.012], and showed a trend toward a significant association with verbal intelligence, β = 0.003, SE = 0.002, t (180.0) = 1.90, p = 0.060, 95% CI [−0.0001, 0.007].
Interestingly, NOD mice treated with BIBO3304 displayed a significant decrease in glucose levels (Placebo, 5.35 ± 0.11 mM; BIBO3304, 5.03 ± 0.09 mM; * P < 0.05), which is associated with a strong trend to increased insulin levels (Placebo, 73.31 ± 9.42 pM; BIBO3304, 103.2 ± 11.87 pM; P = 0.06), indicating that β-cells in a T1D environment are responsive to the inhibition of Y1 receptor signaling.
We found marginally significant effects (repeated measures analysis of variance (RM ANOVA), offline: F 2,22 = 3.22, P = 0.06; online: F 2,22 = 2.72, P = 0.09); however, the differences were small and the opposite direction for on- vs. offline stimulation.

An analysis of variance revealed differences in the proportion of cells in S-phase, G2/M-phase and G0/G1 in Shh creERT2/C mutant versus Shh +/C littermates that approached significance (F (2,8) =4; P =0.06).
Combining these regions into a meta-ROI, we observed that the AD+LB+ group exhibited faster glucose hypometabolism than the AD+LB− group at a statistical trend level ( p = 0.06, Fig. 3C ).

Immunofluorescent staining with IL17 and HIF1A antibodies showed a trend for more IL17 + cells ( p = 0.06) and higher HIF1A expression ( p = 0.09) in DFU-Healers (Supplementary Fig. 7g–i ).
In this part of the task, 45 , 46 , the Cyfip1 +/− rats continued to respond to the original S + over successive sessions, while the WT began to switch their choices to the new S + (a 2 × 2 ANOVA revealed a main effect of SESSION ( F (3,39) = 3.67, p < 0.05) and a GENOTYPE × SESSION interaction ( F (3,39) = 3.76, p < 0.05), where a main effect of GENOTYPE was marginally significant ( F (1,13) = 4.32, p = 0.06)).
